Lol nobody else uses the clutch button in Forza 3? It's not that hard, just one extra button press before shifting, and it's a LOT faster. The secret is to clutch with your left hand pointer finger, and get used to braking with left hand your middle finger.

Or get a nice wheel.... Click here to enlarge

I never got used to braking with my middle finger, it just feels odd. I have more sensitivity in my first finger, that's what the girls say...

I have to practice manual driving.

You just need some practice with your middle, and it becomes very effective. Click here to enlarge

Didn't even realize there was a clutch button.

A manual racing wheel might be a ton of fun...

Go with the logitech g25 or which ever one is the newer model. I have it and it's definitely worth the money by far.

It's not as bad as it sounds. It's like walking or riding a bike, once you get it you don't have to think about it.

Once I got used to the manual I never looked back....Now Im wanting to make all my all wheel drive cars rear wheel drive so I can start power sliding corners

BTW here is a link to another website (hope its ok) that has been Fanatec wheel followers for some time...Its a long thread but if you skim over the last couple pages you can see there is some quality issues with the wheel and delay of shipping

Yeah I still am waiting for the wheel I ordered a month ago. The ship came in this month and I am supposed to get a tracking number by the end of the week.

It seems to be the only solid wheel for Xbox360 so far.

Right, but its a digital switch. There's no modulation.

So there is no clutch slipping, that makes for less control over the car I guess for the hardcore racers.

Yeah, I have yet to play with the clutch, but I would assume it has full sensitivity and not just an on/off

Guys, there IS clutch modulation. Haven't y'all ever watched the GUI with all the details? Press -> on the D-pad. You can see the clutch engagement. Obviously, if using a "click" button, modulation will not be possible.....

Forza automatically modulates the clutch for you when going from a stand-still, you can watch it for yourself.

It's the same as having the computer shift, but you get more points and it is faster if you do it manually.

    So do I.

I should of said "credits". It's Forza currency, you can use it to buy modifications for your vehicle.

That's why I play Richard Burns Rally, Live for Speed, rFactor, iRacing, ect. The Logitech G25 has treated me very well so far.
