    Another MHP 11 second tune only C63.... Sort of

    I purchased raleighc63's C63 back in February. As most of you know the car held the tune only record for quite some time running 11.647@120.1 at MIR.

    My goal prior to installing the MHP LT's and Mids etc was to run an 11 second pass tune only. But not at MIR in negative DA but to do it here in Cincinnati at a local track. My work was cut out for me. Andy can attest our local tracks are not the best here in Cincinnati.

    Yesterday I decided last minute to head out to our local Test & Tune at Edgewater Raceway. The track just recently re-opened due to flooding of half of the track so you can see why we call it E20 around here.

    On to the good stuff..

    Car info:
    09 C63 AMG non P30
    MHP V3 CDT Tune
    K&N Filters
    MT ET Streets mounted on CCW Rims with matching skinnies
    Full Weight minus spare/tools
    3/4 Tank of gas 104/93 mix
    Piloted by me @ 283 Lbs
    Car weighed in @ 4153lbs at the truck scales with me in it yesterday

    DA during this pass was693ft above sea level and humidity was 64%.

    Result 11.98@117.86 in D1 Sport

    OH tracks are definitely not on par with what the East coast has to offer (and I don't mean DA) that is a damn respectable time and trap for Edgewater this time of year, especially with your Defensive End frame driving.     That run I was up against a 70's Chevy van lol. It looked like something you would get by combining the A-Team and To Catch a Predator. It screamed "free candy" haha

    Nice Job. Good to see that car find itself in the hands of another race enthusiast. Good luck with your new mods. You are in good hands with Andy and MHP.

    I got till the end of this season running tune only and then its time to find another DD and start modding the C63.

    Not a problem. No doubt the east coast has some great racing weather.

    If I remember correctly his best time that day was an 11.7 @ 119+
