My Autodynamics Frankenstein CLK W208 a.k.a black beauty

    Hello,

really happy about finding a forum for boosted Mercedes cars Click here to enlarge

I am from Beirut, Lebanon and did A LOT of tinkering on my benz,

my car started its life a black on black us-spec clk 430 - 2001 model

    now it has ...

    • w220 S500 engine
    • w210 E55 transmission with upgraded blue top valve bodies
    • w210 E320 3.07 diff with a AMG TCU (yes i have speed shift)
    • w211 E55 Complete supercharger assembly, Fuel injection, inter-cooler,heat exchanger
    • Kleemann headers
    • w208 AMG swaybars
    • Bilstein b8 shocks
    • zeitronix data logger (AFR EGT AIT BOOST)

I am running a bigger air mass housing with a resistor mod for it is maxing out (Kleemann style)

i have a custom tune which is not 100% dialed (mail tune no local Mercedes tuners here) in so there is more to it... although now it is running perfectly but still have some very very minor drive-ability issues

running on 0.4 bar boost depending on the competition Click here to enlarge

future mods are to iron sleeve the block and order a set of forged pistons and run crazy boost Click here to enlarge

    pic and videos soon

Sounds pretty awesome, where are you located?

I might move this to the W208 CLK section depending on the content.

Curious as to why you are using an E55 supercharger setup on an S500 motor?

well first to me it was cheaper than going to a complete E55 swap, and the supercharger is bigger than kleemann Click here to enlarge size matters heheh

I just didn't realize the E55 supercharger would apply. When are you planning on installing it? Any photos?

    ^ Props! Wow!

Who did the tuning? Any idea what the power numbers are?

How difficult was it to do?

install was done at Autodynamics Lebanon By Mercedes Genius "Ali Saklaoui" we did all the R&D and shopped for the parts,

the tuning is by Jerry at Eurocharged but its a mail tune so needs a bit more tweaking but i am happy with it although its AFR is a bit rich but what i noticed that's the way AMG does the E55 and its safe and provides some cooling to the cylinder walls...

I'm starting to get pretty impressed with what Eurocharged does. For a mail order tune to Lebanon on a swapped motor car adding an M113 Kompressor on top that is not bad. I'm sure if they had access to the car they could get it flat out perfect but considering the circumstances, wow.
