    A little taste of the RB 335I Vs AA M3

    ***THIS IS IN NO WAY AN ACCURATE PORTRAYAL OF EITHER CAR.****


































    intent of video was to capture the music made from the motor so i wasnt concerned with viewing angle when we started. I had the high speed backing on the gopro, not a good idea, wont do that again, we will keep camera inside car from now on.


    I did not let off in the first vid, i got an SES light after going to 4th gr, but since Mrs was w/me and not logging, i dont know what really happened. I think it was an overboost from the what i heard and felt. i just updated firmware and havent run this map since my pumpgas only track day, and think i left the over boost safety @ 18 psi (im running 17.5) AK also had major traction issue which gave me the jump, which as you can see from the next runs, i could not duplicate. You can also see that he strated to pull HARD even before i shifted and got the light...

    2nd run was a good run for me, as you can see, i never pulled ahead but stayed close, evenas he kept pulling away- how close, i dont know. Brings us back to viewing angle that will be better next time

    3rd run SES came back so i called it quits until i see what codes are thrown, but autocode-clearing was on, so i never got a chance to read it. i dont believe WE got above 110-115, but i could be wrong. This is why i say its not accurate.
    (I dont care for me as I already knew he would pull, but we want to show actual distance pulled, all the way up to at least 130mph-for me anyway)

    if you feel im making excuses, that is not the case, i could easily just withold the video until we get the runs WE want. BUT, for the benefit of everyone, we felt we SHOULD show it even just to give the community the knowledge that the AA S/C kit is legit, and ready to break some hearts..

    As you can see though, the AA M3 is a formidable opponent and not to be taken lightly

    BTW, when I say not accurate, im not talking about for me, i want to accuratly show how hard HE is pulling on ME, not me getting a better run (other than a complete run)

    its true we were just messing around a little for fun to see how its might be. W were trying to do the run after he dropped of his Mrs but i was way to tired from the TST meet. This week we shall have a REAL run, and some real dyno figures.

    he was next to me the most part ( you cant see in the video due to the angle) but i was to focused on getting use to the car's power. Also figuring out how much throttle i should use for the best traction.

    no, i think it would be even worse, but for some reason it wasnt clear with this high noise on either. so i dont think anyone can complain about the vids shot from inside the car, so ill keep it to that for rolling runs. seems inside the car with reg backing you could hear everything clearer in addition to having the postion to view everything as well

    a real S/C kit at 8.5 psi and meth, yes i would hope so. its the ESS cars i dont fear, and keep in mind 17.5 psi on pump/meth with an extra 100# wife in the car is not all out for me Click here to enlarge

    lol, no, not in the least. I actually had this convo with an M5 owner today who asked why not ESS, in which i replied "find me an ESS car thats willing to run his car and not just his mouth" to which he had no retort.

    Although, Im hesitant to talk a lot of trash on all ESS cars, as i really think IMG is a different caliber person than the other 2 of 4 local, and ProdigyMB i would like to reconcile with in attempt to go back to the original intent and that would be enthusiasts getting together and not interwebz drama... BUT...

    you believe what you want, and ill stick to mine. what i see and hear is more than just whats publicly posted on forums. That being the whole point in me and Ak documenting every step of the way with infallable data. So that someone can read up on things here and know exactly what they are getting into. With more than just a few #'s that noone else seems able to achieve, like 125-130mph's and sub 7 sec times, when real customers get 119mph and high 8 60-130's and "600 HP" M3's beaten by NOT-FBO N54's. The constant switching of pulleys and tunes and DR's or no DR's and weight reduction or not, meth on, meth off and this and that yada yada yada..

    basically recall what you KNOW and HAVE SEEN in the N54 world, compared to what Hotrod does in his N54, and apply that thinking to your new platform Click here to enlarge

    i was tired as hell too man, took a power-nap before comin online to throw the vid up.     Good video, couldn't see much but it's far better than nothing. I say put the GoPro inside and attach it to the sunroof, you will get the best angle.

    Aren't there any options for the gopro to get rid of wind noise?

    The cars doing that have meth, don't believe that those numbers apply to all. This AA Stage 2 with meth is going to be stronger than your ESS kits without it.

    Read over our list to see how many don't run the peak times you are going by.
