The Kimber ultra carry II regular clip holds 7+1 in the chamber. Extended 12+1 in the chamber. Keep in mind that it uses .45, has 3 inch barrel, weights 25 oz (13 oz less than a full size 1911). I wear a suit, and can have it in my side pant pocket without anyone knowing.....

My Glock 21 (also a .45), regular clip holds 13+1 in the chamber, and the extended clip holds 32+1 in the chamber.

My first gun was a Taurus revolver and had it for many years, saved a life with it once, so i have a soft spot for the company, best wishes with yours and congrats!

Why is an extended clip on a carry on bad? Plus, you can just use it in certain situation I take it? Say if you keep it mostly at home?

How the $#@! are you going to conceal that with the extended clip? If it's used at home, it isn't a carry piece.

If you need more than 5 rounds, you're doing it wrong.
