Quit being a pussy, that's why your car is so slow in the first place.

LTs are loud at cold start and when you floor it like they should be, you're driving a performance sedan with a large V8, maybe you need to trade in for a turbo 4 cylinder with nice quiet exhaust and outstanding fuel economy?

Otherwise get over it your car may be quiet, but it's slow.
Unless your driving a 8sec car that traps 150+mph your car is slow.Click here to enlarge It never ends. I don't drive a muscle car but a family 4 door sedan. I don't want it too loud. BTW I wouldnt say the stock sound is quietClick here to enlarge. I always have people ask me what exhaust system I have. Even my neighbor across the street complains about the noise. I know what a Long tube set up sounds like-$#@!ing loud!

Its not the extra $. Its the obnoxious noise coming from Long tubes all the time.
You are the one b!tching about having to pay a bit more if you had to get long tubes passed - so clearly, it IS about the $. And long tubes, even without cats, are totally quiet except for as JBOnd mentioned, cold start and when you are WOT.

I know people who put dummy cats (hollowed out covers) over their long tubes.

    +1

I've been driving with long tubes since last October. WOT and cold start are the only time when it's loud.
    Cruising around it's surprisingly quiet.

Are we on the same page? I'm mentioning about a Long Tube C63 where there are no cats. When they plug into the OBD2 it reads the sensors are not ready. Meaning you fail emissions. Right now I only have a tune and this is not a issue$37 for inspection.
NV is OBDII only for cars that have OBDII so no sniffer used. Therefore, it will also not pass because the O2 Sensors are not "ready."

Same for me. In fact, until you crack the throttle, you probably wouldn't notice the difference.
