DCT/PDK/DSG makes the most sense on a turbo car, as you don't lose any boost since the shifts are essentially instant. For that reason alone, I wish I had ordered DCT on my 335is when I had the...

I agree the evidence, press release, and even magazine reviews show the M6 is lighter. Strange that the 2 BMW corporate web sites quoted in this thread have the (seemingly) wrong data though.

The M3 time is legit - .1 ahead of the Mustang GT. There is a video somewhere of that test with Pobst driving both cars. Unless the M3 was really a disguised Viper... ;)

I find all three cars appealing for different reasons. GT-R for all-out brute force, 911 for its all-around capabilities, everyday drivability and prestige, and the Audi for that V-10 and overall...

If you consider this as a "what can I get for the xx-yy dollar range" it's not so bad, and he stated that was really their intent with this video. Seems like the GT-R ended up being the better...

The response of the stock car below 5k is so bad that even the centrifugal blower improves things. ;)
