We have a 255 inline on order and once that is in we'll do up an E85 no meth map.
They did, I think. But EU cars only. :(

Check the replies on your n54tech support forum thread.
On the N55 as a higher HP motor, who knows. I've not torn one down yet other than the top end for VANOS repairs. On the short block I presume it's using the same cast pistons the N54 uses and that as...
We've got the Vargas Stage2 N55 turbo running on our 2011 135i DCT car and was finally able to hit up the dyno for a little tuning today. The vehicle is FBO but equipped with a CPE...

It is. His flash set point is wobbling at the same frequency. I think as long as he runs a JB4 on a map with a target higher than his flash target the issue won't crop up, and if he runs flash only...

Link to the VT3 logs? I must have missed them if they were eventually posted.
It's not added yet to any (public) F series model firmware. For now it's an E series feature only. With the F...

To determine what flash file you need to load, then you need to first determine what ECU you have. For MSD81 load the ijeos line of files. For MSD80 the i8a0s files. Either way you can also have your...

As I already told told you via email, it's your flash. Load up our MT flash and let's use that as a go forward point for your tuning.

I'm always surprised by those who don't post basic logs as a reference to whatever it is they happen to be talking about. Logs always give a context for the discussion. With Dzenno an example would...

PS. After some more digging I found another hidden limiter table and made some progress. I can now have the DME target up to 17psi at redline which is more than I need for the test I'm doing. w00t!
07-19-2014, 03:03 PM
Just a byproduct of how the DME happens to be programmed from the factory. With the S55, N55, N54, N20, etc, we can run 40-50% E85 without the need of a back end flash. With the S63 it's another...

Odd that boost target loggable parameter is not accurate. I guess I'm not surprised. The Cobb OTS maps already reduce the throttle safety by around 50%. It would be easy to reduce it by 90% or 100%...

Looks like 13psi @ 6500rpm. I'm not sure what to make of that log though. If you look at their "req boost psi" which I believe that is the same as our DME BT it's showing a target of only around 9psi...

OK good any tuning decision should be based on good data. Too often these guys go racing around with overly aggressive settings without knowing what is going on. Fortunately the platform is very...

E85 is not compatible with this platform, at least not without a full flash, which doesn't exist yet. I would not run more than the +5.00psi setting.
The resolution in dash can be adjusted, BTW. The default 0-20psi sweep gives about the same needle movement as any other generic analog vacuum/boost gauge. If you want more needle movement we can set...

To determine if its pulling timing you'd have to monitor timing with an OBDII tool. You can't presume that from a lack of performance as other factors will also reduce performance if the setting is...

It's possible it can be figured out, I'm not sure, but I'm definitely pulling my hair out in the process.
For example here is a log from earlier today. The boost curve is the typical 20psi...

lol no the OTS maps are not usable. I'm talking about the custom tune mapping. We use it to tune your Stage2 turbos on N55s for back end flash mapping. It works nicely for changing around the AFR,...

Looks like a fun project! I've not seen any single turbo N55s around these parts. Some day when one turns up we'll look in to the tuning.
PS. The N55 Cobb stuff is simply awful and no where near...

S63/S63TU: Pretty solid traps.
Pretty solid traps.

I don't have any concerns with timing recovering post shift at different rates. If looking for knock what I'd be primarily looking for is repeated 3 degree timing drops that are not the result of a...

Looks like you attached the wrong photo, it's some sort of a 3rd party MAC interface. This is your chart with cyl 1-6 showing.
07-17-2014, 03:34 PM
Ah, yes, I know he is adding cyl 2-6 data to the various 3rd party apps. Hopefully sooner than later! :)
