Just go SMFW and save money if there is any possibility of upgrading your turbos. I had the same thinking and bought. 2+ and new DMFW. About a year or so later I went SMFW (due to power) and bought...
Thanks. It isn't clear what someone with a JB4 would need to do to enable this (outside of the flash side). A how-tonon checking JB4 chip version/compatibility, upgrade...
Good numbers and comparison!
Now, the 681 on my pull was at 27psi vs 30psi on the Pure FWIW.
I have the 3+ w/ steel SMFW. The chatter is loud at idle, but setting idle to 1k rpms is the perfect number for me. It idles great and doesn't sound like it is idling too high.
I have zero...
You can just adjust the throttle tables yourself to suit your needs. We've had this functionality for years from the Cobb days.

Yes, the PP to flywheel bolts. The 3+ has bigger bolts than the twin disk, which were tiny.
If you have a different figure, let me know.

Just to close the loop, Spec replied and said 28 ft lbs for the PP bolts for the 3+.

I'll make a post in a month or so when I'm done :)

It varies for each one, as they have different bokt sizes. I've had the twin, the 2+, and the 3+ but can't remember anymore :-/

I'm re-installing my 3+ but no longer have my notes for the PP bolt torque spec/sequence, nor can I find it via search. If anyone has the sequence/tq specification, I'll appreciate it!

The spool and how extremely wide the power and is here is amazing! Essentially 700whp from 4700rpms to near redline. Area under the curve FTW!

Thanks for sharing.
A couple observations:
Your car is very slow to spool. I'm sure elevation has something to due with this. Looking at your logs, it appears the WGDC isn't fully closed (to...
Looking forward to more Pure numbers. Good stuff here.
That $3700 cost is without turbo. You would have to add $2k to get a all-in price for the single kit.
The VTT 2+ all-out (20T, clipped,...

You can create an account on datazap.me, upload your CSV to it and post the link here. That way, we can all view your log and graph it on datazap, looking at any parameters we need even on our mobile...
It looks good. I'm not normally a fan of flash, but this is so over the top that it looks good (kind of like flying off the edge of the world and coming back on the other side).

Looking good. Ease post the CSV (Datazap link is preferable).
Which spring do you have in it now?

IMO, no one cares about 91 octane. People have $10k plus builds and don't chance it all on 91 octane (nor want to limit themselves to 5xx whp).
Clearly, that is the obvious option. My question is what [alternative] options do we propose. Have you found the OEM tools to be easier to use when bulding N54s The Convert? How did that experience...
Good to know.
What would you propose instead?
Good to know. The other option is high precision paint marks, but you'd likely have the block dipped which would remove the marks.
What other options/ideas does the community have? I have a spare...
It would be helpful to hear less of what you don't think will work and more of what you do think will work.
While I admit it may not work, have you tried the above method and measured the accuracy?
I had an idea. Before disassembly, you could use a dremel to make small alignment marks along the bedplate and block ensuring that it is reinstalled exactly as it came out. If the marks remain...
Looks good. I would breakout the two versions of the VTT 2+ (19T, 20T, clipped), or expand the price range to match the top-end configuration from the bottom-end. I like the power column. Perhaps it...

No, I have stock frame record at 681whp (with logs, mph, etc). Brian is a cool guy and we've talked and shared tuning info for a long time.
That being said, we haven't really seen any data on this...
