Cray cray to see twin intakes on a big turbo(s) N54. Can't wait to see where this ends up, the potential is pretty heroic.

The latter really wouldn't surprise me. Unless you wilfully put the blinders on, this dude is a serial killer and likely a sociopath. Several people (including I believe A.H.'s uncle?) associated...

I haven't been doing as many of these, just been too busy. If there's demand for them, let me know and I can put them together more frequently. It's just selective copy-pasting, so not a log of leg...
Another log for you crazy kids. 3-4-into 5th. It missed at the top of 4th, i'd welcome any feedback as always.
I spent well over $1K to make a good, but not ideal, methanol setup. SS line, HFS4, that jazz.
Port fuel to date has cost me slightly more. I don't think you'll see major cost savings one way or...
Jeez I totally abandoned this thread. My bad. Been out of town for most of the last 3 months so i'm really just now getting around to tuning. Getting port fuel 100% has taken a bit of time, and...
My heater element thingy-ma-job is chillin like a villain unplugged in the back of the engine bay. Just put the BMS 'can back on a few days ago. All is well, yank that sucker out.

You all may recall a rumor I passed along awhile back RE: Hernandez and an incident he had with Wes Welker in his rookie season. I was never able to confirm it and never really thought too much of...
+1 though it stays closer to .5-1 on my car. It's a bit disconcerting but that appears to be how the single turbo cars all run...Gotta be something with regards to how the widebands get placed...

Feel free to PM, I don't want to hijack Tony's thread. But what makes you say that? Is it the relatively rudimentary batch firing that's "incorrect"? Curious as to your thoughts, this is relatively...

I guess my car doesn't qualify as "big number" with what N54s are doing now a days but i've been putzing around on straight corn since port fuel went in. Granted, that's all of about 500 miles over...

I got 275s to fit out back. Well, they kinda fit lol.
I feel your pain.

For sure. I realize the updates i'm providing aren't substantive and don't really give you all much to work off of...I'll see if Jake has any spare N20 harnesses laying around and swap it out later...

Just cold started the car...Idle was rough but it didn't outright cut out like yesterday, though it felt like it wanted to. I noticed a LOT of air being vented from the BOV but as I understand it,...

I've been in the same boat. With that said, haven't touched the harness since it was installed like 2 months ago. I pulled the MAP a few weeks back to replace the stock O-ring, which had gotten a bit...

Hmmmm, the plot thickens.
Do you know what caused the harness to fail? Mine has been living on the car for all of 5 weeks and about 300 miles. I find it hard to believe it's already failed but...

Ahhh, so you mean the actual plastic plug/holder for the sensor? AKA the sucker below - not just the actual sensor? Gotcha.
03-23-2015, 02:14 PM
Thanks for the response bud
Good ol'e internets are confusing me w/ the semantics: By "the plug" do you mean the bolt that is currently missing? Or to be exact, 1 of the 2 bolts that are currently...

Yea but then you'd have to build the DCT...Obviously to each their own, but that starts to get $$$$ if we're talking a swap.
Pull the metal mounts brother. Even switching to the Rogue poly...

That seems reasonable but would req. Spec to actually display customer service. So that's a no-go.
Pulling the trans mounts would def. help, are yours poly or metal? There's going to be some...

I've been out of town for most of the last two months on work, so am just now getting around to tuning the port fuel and all that jazz. Tuning is going great, big credit to Jake...

It's easy to get caught up in the glamorous prospects, but the real legwork is done in that 3-5 round range where you can really get a nice mixture of talent and leverage. Maybe a player had some off...
Folks have been fooling around with the corn for half a decade on this platform. Unless "down the road" means 10+ years of use, I think we have a large enough anecdotal sample size to conclude that...
There really aren't many substantive drawbacks. If you let it sit for ages it'll break down and foul your injectors etc, but outside of that it's basically all positives.
Not to mention leaded...
Yep, requires more ethanol relative to pump gas, hence the strain it puts on the OE fuel system.
One more thing i'd add - when all was said and done, I dumped nearly as much money into the...
