i believe corn is superior as the cane can have particulate matter that clogs $#@!?
but sugarcane is better for the environment by miles
gah took me a while to work out the costs properly
this $#@! again -_-
on the united 'race E85' front.. just read through their facebook page yesterday.. so damn cool! guess it's cheaper to make the V8 supercar fuel in bulk.. plus the marketing...
there'd likely be gains, but mostly related to the pumping loss directly in the intake/exhaust ports.. combined with a full head-job, there'd be gains for sure..
worth it on stock frame turbos?...

There's obviously huge issues still to overcome with the tuning
I just don't understand people saying 'it's fine we have full control of the DME blah blah'... so yeah what's with everyone...
isn't break-in even on a clutched LSD pretty much something like.. do a bunch of figure 8's for like 15 minutes?.. and a maybe a little gentle driving for say 50-100 miles?

this isn't the *best* example of a perfectly running single turbo N54.
lots of issues to sort out, so i look at this as a 'what this car can do now' baseline haha
it's just like an RB/VTT2'd...
so pretty much just easier to tune, and likely no real downsides?

i've heard an S85 (sat in and revved too) with some sorta exhaust
prefer the blown S65 for whatever reason!
it did sound a bit quiet for a 600+rwhp N54 haha.
ahh dammit, them too?! haha

dammit missed the flame LOL
kinda want an S65 over N54 just for that noise, i mean damn they crapped all over the N54 in that department haha
love the reaction of the 5th race though.. as soon...
what's the advantage of boost based vs load based?
i thought that load based.. while more cumbersome/complicated, was the latest/greatest method of tuning?
when did that come out? I've only heard of ATR/ATP (accesstuner race).. ATP is the one that lets you go past 18psi i thought? (p for professional)
google has nothing on 'cobb race logic'?
what's race logic? I know they make VBOX, but what do they make for this context?
couldn't edit above for some reason.. but 4k R8's in US, 930 in canadia* lots more than i thought at first.
Syvecs for GT-R is $6500 that i can find.
which i still say isn't bad at all haha
market size is what i was thinking.. 100% of R8 owners would be like what... 1% of N54 owners, if not...
i take it there's no public (ie, posted on the internet) info on this, you just heard through the industry grapevine?
that would be pretty spectacular news though!
I don't think (if/when it...
I can't find anything on a bosch one able to control anything other than bosch's own piezo injectors. (even the PDF linked above says programmed for bosch piezo injectors, which i'd assume are fairly...

from reading other forums, it doesn't exactly look like they have done spectacularly on other models?
N54 is one of the only i can find WITHOUT tons of complaints.
nothing other than the DME can control the injectors

yeah what was it.. unequal backpressure from the manifold causing the exhaust valves to float?
08-14-2014, 10:05 PM
i'm sure we'll find out in the coming weeks/months or whatever :)
i'm hoping it's like you're thinking.. PTF helping spec get the clutch to just the level of performance it needs, could mean it's...
08-14-2014, 09:19 PM
must be a different product if it's PTF exclusive (well, i'm guessing it has some PTF branding on it?)
spec told me they can sell a twin-plate directly, but that was before the PTF product...
08-14-2014, 06:26 PM
seems like it's something to do with how the tools were calibrated in that time period?
08-14-2014, 06:23 PM
is the PTF one different to one directly from SPEC?
it looks like a pretty amazing price for the holding power from spec's quoted price.

what's the heat cycling bit?
sounds pretty crazy cheap though for wheels AND tires regardless.
looks like +1mm lift and a few degrees of duration on the schrick cams?
also curious about how valvetronic would work with different cams?... valvetronic just allows variation of the min+max...
