Honestly the drag strip setups make it stupid to drive on the street unless you are doing a quick heads up straight line race.

Literally, what makes the ls3 stronger block than the ls6?
The rear is fine, i just wish the front was a bit more squished or leaner looking.
It makes for good engine bay room though, versus a vette for instance.

Can you explain how the ls3 block is stronger than the ls6?
Also, how is the c6 z06 a big improvement over the base C6 but the c5 z06 isn't versus base c5?

I think the differencs between the c5 base and z06 is very similar to the difference between the base c6 and z06.
Obviously the c6 z06 is a bigger jump, and costs a lot more.

How is the base c6 way better? I've driven both and i disagree.
Ls6 stock through manual on our dyno = 355whp
LS3 stock through...
Gtr would be consistenly fast though.... Kinda feels like you are hovering above the ground....
Z06 is just badass
Plus it's fun to shift violently :)
I'd say z06 over gtr.
Gtr is ugly and $#@! working on that powertrain.

Yeah, near instant torque is nice.
Turbo torque wave is fun too, need to have some of each!
Just remember, lsd won't cure bad spring/damping rates, improper rollbars or bad camber/toe alignment.

I also think the c5 z06 is more "special" than a regular c6.... And looks better.
The none z06 and grand sport vettes just don't look right after being around z06

You can put a positive displacement blower on a c5 z06.
I agree, c6 z06 is easy route if you have money. Headers, pulley and a tune, maybe injectors depending on if you are gonna run e85.
