Did a quarter mile run today as the test road was clear but very wet.. car spun off the line, got to 60 mph about 0.2 secs slower than in the dry and then just died above 80 mph. The implied times...

yes I am a little stunned how quick these things are for a 2.0 banger
Is that the L.I.E ?
BTW if you had longer gearing it would be a 7.6
Faster than times I've seen for a Huracan = nice
Just got another 8" here so dug the driveway out again.. there goes my fun for another week and a few weeks before the Porker can be driven

Anyone else think there is an Audi R918 type thingy coming using the success of the 918 Spyder
I would love an Audi or Lambo E drive with V10 1100 hp beast... they won't do it but it could be GREAT

I hate the different colored side intake... otherwise a glorious car and the last manuals have been done sorry to hear

Nice, and I know how new that car is as my A3 license plate is GVT

1/4 mile speed while braking from 101 mph in 12.8 seconds and a 1000 foot time = 10.51 secs at 101.5 mph
I think we could see 115 mph trap for a quarter mile with these things

I could not complete a 1/4 mile as I picked up a stray pig signal on my radar detector but the implied 1/8 mile is quite exciting for a little 2 litre car
1/8 mile = 8.078 seconds with a term...

0 to 100 mph = 10.67 seconds
Note Power Calculations based on 3550 lb car
0.38 g at 90 mph = 371 bhp
0.52g at 68 mph = 383...

0 to 60 mph Number 1 = 4.6 seconds
0 to 60 mph Number 2 - same road opposite direction

Just thrashed the Audi A3 for a 100 miles or so and got out onto my favorite road here where there is a 1/2 mile stretch and pasted a local S3 fwiw.
Conditions very cold and clear and sunny, road...
Brakes REALLY SUCK..... the rear axle hops around like a Banshee on crack on any type of bumpy road... in D mode the car feels like the brakes are being applied with a pause at 2000-2300 rpms...

Mate, my phone is 631 903 2039... I may be in the big bad city as I was there the last few weeks and the missus is there... will know tomorrow, but if not I can come down to your office when the...
Now that the car is settled in it seems to be hitting around 380 bhp or 305 awhp in these 20F temps
3600 lbs with me, tank of gas and a 60 lb dog and pulling 0.48 g at 72 mph in 3rd gear
I hope the S3 has better brakes and a better back axle set up than my A3... it has issues this car !
My stage 1.5 Eurodyne A3 with the same set up is already at 350 bhp+ (300 whp or so) so any added bolts on could see these near 350 whp.. add some race gas and the cold temps and 370-380 bhp would be...
Any times yet Irish ?
I am going out this week to do a full run with the A3 when it gets above 32F

Never had a bad Dominus... don't know much about the 90's vintages though
