the last 2 digits are supposed to indicate torque capacity (measured how? who knows.. since the N54 one has shown to handle way more) - 53 being 530nm, 47 being 470nm.. n52 (at least uk/aus) 37bz...
11-20-2014, 01:31 PM
what exactly are these?
11-20-2014, 01:25 PM
the dimensions may be the same, but no it's not the same transmission
35i N54's are the GS6-53BZ.. the N55 and 1M are the.. GS6(could be wrong here)47BZ
1M has a potentially weaker trans than...

i dunno... $1800 is pretty cheap for what it is
other platforms pay $1000+ for OEM
got some mates who paid $1800 for something more like a stage 1/2 clutch+fw for their focuses...

11-17-2014, 10:38 AM

11-16-2014, 12:34 PM

that rear is waaay OTT, especially from directly behind
would love to see it in a different colour though, the yellow is probably the worst IMO.

sorry no, didn't think the turbo wasn't capable of big boost/high flow, just wondering how much boost/flow it will be capable of in this particular setup with the whole being behind another turbo...
11-13-2014, 03:00 AM
just figured the 3076 might slow things down a hell of a lot
be interesting to see when it makes boost and how much
plus, diesels have a lot more mass to spin turbos with

[QUOTE=mjmarovi;605188]That wasn't the case. Too much of a battle with this platorm, not enough performance per horsepower, I'm just over it. /QUOTE]
i'm just hoping this improves with time... To...

are you expecting the 4205 to be able to produce much boost?
11-12-2014, 01:35 AM
yeah wow 115lb/min shouldn't have any worries cracking 1000 O_O.. mighty expensive turbo though!
you have both turbos to test with i take it?
11-12-2014, 01:26 AM
where can you get the 4205, i thought you could only get a 4202?
can't wait to see you turn the boost on it up though :D
do you know who you're going to get to do the software side?
11-09-2014, 10:02 PM
how does that make sense when both the euro and US spec cars use the same components?
11-09-2014, 02:24 AM
yeah i've asked a couple of times, same answer each time, never going to happen
Clutchmasters also sell a twin disc no? But it's stupid expensive.
11-09-2014, 12:22 AM
So... this clutch functionality wise when it works is perfect, no complaints right?
But customer service, how it installs, manufacturing tolerances.. absolutely $#@!house? :/
the second set of wheels on the 918
oh god yes 10/10

i think all bolt on kits looks cheap, tacky, horrid
and cost 10x as much as they should.
but this one... holy $#@!, nothing lines up
if LB can make it with such poor quality.. i think even i...
would assume so given that's the restriction - doubt they'd give it that range were it possible to contact a piston.. i guess unless it was borderline and got some float?
and yeah the mild cam...

It was the trans holding it back wasn't it?.. Engine's been pretty solid for a while now i thought.
Not long for results then? ;)
Durr... just had a read through that document - it has the N54 listed as well, and it's got a little less movement than the N55, less intake duration too.
I remember finding the N54 values once, but can't
