If MOSFETs fail they short circuit, so a failed MOSFET is easily found if you measure resistance.
For it to physically crack you'd need a massive current peak.
98% of the time they just short out...
Your DME actually held on pretty long.
This was a common problem in 2013...
Better replace all 6 MOSFETs while you have the DME on the bench to prevent having to do this again.
