I'm sure sticky knows the commercial implementations of the m112 and that it's about as indestructible as they come. The biggest challenge is the tuning.
But with all these kits: support is verything. That said, someone was also the first to try a AA kit or ESS kit.

Need for torque down low depends on the drive ratio. The choice of CF or volumetric is imho more based on how the engine's used/suited. An engine that loves to rev (and is used in that way) is more suitable for a CF.
