The first patent photos of the 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS have surface online.
Discovered by Car Magazine
, the pictures reveal the model will follow in the footsteps of the 911 GT3
but adopt a muscular hood and wider, ventilated front fenders. Moving further back, there's double bubble roof, lightweight wheels and rear fenders from the 911 Turbo. The model also has a new engine cover and a sporty rear wing.
Inside, there's sports seats and a roll cage that resides where the rear seats would normally be located.
Porsche has been relatively coy about the model but it could use a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine that develops more than 475 PS (349 kW). It will likely be paired exclusively to a PDK transmission which has been specifically tuned for use in the model.
