IMHO, nobody should get into boost with a new setup, before a qualified EFI tuner has some time with it. One of the first of my honda friends, back in 2005, to jump on the turbo bandwagon after I had made 300whp on a stock dohc 1.6L(b16a), cracked all 4 pistons on a honda b20b during his first pull. I told him to NOT DRIVE IT, until I had reprogrammed his ECU. He learned the hard way. Thankfully, the VC breather isn't anywhere near the turbo/manifold on a B-Series. My brother almost burnt his SR20 240sx to the ground, when he cracked a ring land and blew oil out of the breather all over the turbo/manifold. Thank god he had a bottle of iced tea and that was enough to put out the flames. Blowby out of the VC breather while under boost = cracked/burned pistons. "

I completely understand your logic here.

If one intends to modify the M235i makes a lot of sense especially if you value fun factor.

The M235i is artificially limited by BMW, we know this. They charge you to unlock it (only to a degree) with their M Performance Parts.

The CLA45 AMG is probably not going to be nearly as much fun to drive but it's a hell of a drag racer with the all wheel drive and DCT. I prefer its styling as it is more progressive but this is as subjective point. "

" This thread is the most perfect example of why these installs should be done by shops with experience in turbochargers and only shops with experience in turbo chargers. This thread is also a perfect example of why OP's with such little experience should move forward very very slowly after the initial install and make sure everything is set up properly. Overfilling your oil even to an extreme wouldn't push it out the breather, you would start burning oil and smoking. If you are pushing out the breather, your engine is hurt. No two ways about it. "
