However, I gave them a call asking for a quote on some parts install and they said they would emal me back. This was 2 months ago. A few days later, maybe a week later, I pm'd Mike here and he said the same thing. I will get back to you, and still never did. Sucks because they are pretty close to my parents house and I've always been a fan of their products and customer service. It's whatever though, their products are still well built. I have had zero (nil/none) issues with my car (minus the engine mounts), it's literally indestructible. I really don't think you can beat a car up much worse than I do to mine... Point is - there will always be something said about an engine. There will always be some bad eggs in the crate (or however the saying goes). I don't think it's something you need to weigh your decision on, especially considering you don't want to add boost. How many engines have died that you know of? Of those, were they boosted?

Those two last questions should indicate that it's very few - and yes, stock engines have went... We are talking like less than 1% here - and you will likely be covered under warranty based on what you are looking for.

All of that is what you seem concerned about. You won't find the next engine to be close to this thing. I suggest you try test driving one to feel it out. It's so hard to describe to people - but the throttle response is so above par, it's not even comparable to much anything... Just this alone will make you smile - and let you know that you have something special under the hood. "
