Well how about that? It's funny how things work out sometimes when you achieve a goal that is a by-product of your focus on something else. In July of this year Mercedes stated they did not expect to win the 2013 luxury sales race and also stated they were fine with that implying that BMW fudges their sales numbers anyway. Mercedes instead decided to focus on quality and building the best cars in their respective segments they possibly could. ...Published on 01-03-2014 03:10 PM
The Mercedes-Benz 350 models despite having more volume than their AMG and V8 counterparts tend to receive less tuning attention. The amount of aftermarket products is fairly scarce but rather than telling someone to trade their car in there are options for 350 owners. Below is a 2008 W204 C350 that comes with the M272 3.5 liter V6 which has an output of 268 horsepower from the factory. BenzBoost announced some time ago that the next generation W205 C63 AMG would get a 4.0 liter twin turbo direct injected V8 internally named the M177. The question that remained was whether the C63 would get a dual clutch transmission or go with the 7G-MCT transmission the current 63 AMG models use. This transmission is based on a traditional automatic although with the torque converter replaced by wet multi-plate clutches. ...Published on 12-29-2013 09:10 PM
BenzBoost is sorry it has the duty of reporting this tragic news. Seven time Formula 1 champion and former Mercedes-Benz F1 driver and brand ambassador Michael Schumacher is in a coma. Schumacher suffered a cerebral hemorrhage as a result of an accident sustained while skiing in France. He struck his head on a rock and was responsive and talking after the initial impact. Some time after that there was bleeding in his brain. ...
