    • 2018 Mercedes-AMG W213 E63 S vs. Audi S8 Plus roll race

More videos of the new W213 Mercedes-AMG E63 S doing runs are getting out there and this video is a welcome departure from the one posted the other day that catered to M fanboy egos.

The new E63 runs an Audi S8 Plus which features a 605 horsepower version of the 4.0 liter twin turbo TFSI V8.

Power between the two cars on paper is similar (as is displacement and engine design) but the S8 is the heavier of the two by roughly 200 pounds.

Additionally, the E63 S is stated to have 627 lb-ft of torque to the S8's 553 lb-ft. This shows in the video as the E63 opens up a lead quickly and just pulls away.

It's a strong car in stock form.

Yeh, that amg beast is just quick, but be patience, just wait for 2019 audi rs7, news say it's gonna have 700 bhp so hope that's true, to witness some mercs and bmv's getting rekt, especially with 4 wheel steering.

It's just the same thing in a higher state of tune. They all are doing the same thing and each can easily match the other.

Audi comes out with 700 bhp 4.0 so then Mercedes offers a Performance Package to match it and so on and so forth.

Yep, i totally agree, but 4 wheel steering will make a huge difference.
