    • Pirelli's P Zero Color Edition tires let you to add some flair to your rubber

This is something different and admittedly cool. You no doubt have seen people do raised white letters on tires. Pirelli is allowing customers to choose whatever color they want to accent their P Zero Color Edition tires.

How does it work? You go into the Pirelli configurator and select your car: http://shop.pirelli.com/us_en/

Then, you personalize the colors. Here are a few examples:

Just another way to customize and set yourself apart. Good thinking on the part of Pirelli and there should be some interesting combos as more people try the Color Edition tires out.

I've always thought the stencil letters were right up there with riced out civics with huge wings. I guess these look legit but im still not a fan.

It's something different. The Italian flag colors are cool for example.

We'll see what people come up with.

True. Lets be honest, the people that were stenciling their tires before cant afford these, so perhaps that will serve as a decent filter.

PZeros specifically? Well compared to the competition (namely Michelin PSS or PS4S) they have less grip, worse treadwear rating, ride worse, protect your rims less and cost more. The only thing they have going for them is they offer an insane range of sizes so it's easy to find them for almost any application, including SUVs, whereas it's harder to find a PSS or PS4S in those obscure sizes.

The new P Zero Corsa is supposed to be pretty good though.

When my tires are done I'm going want something that is just on that ragged edge of street tire vs. race tire.

The tire has definitely been improving over the years, especially the Corsa. I would check out the most recent tire comparison tests, but as far as I can tell the best street tire out there is the PS4S. I'm waiting to see when the Sport Cup 3 (or whatever they call it) is going to come out as the Sport Cup 2 is beginning to age, but I would probably go Sport Cup 2 over the Corsa.

Also here's a recent comparison including the PS4S and the PZero just for reference: https://www.caranddriver.com/feature...ce-data-page-2

The 4S is impressive but unfortunately the new Pzero Corsa wasn't in that one.

The PZero Nero's are amazing I hear but basically a race tire.

Looking forward to hearing about the Sport Cup 3's.

Well, so you must order by vehicle from the small list of exotics, or they wont sell you one? I dont see a way to order by tire size, etc.

I think you can only go by the cars they have listed and not by size.
