    • Mercedes-AMG GT S with the TTE760+ M178 turbo upgrade and MCCHIP-DKR ECU tuning Software dynos 686 crank horsepower

TTE (The Turbo Engineers) is well known in Germany and their turbo upgrades are well regarded. Mcchip-Dkr is a German software tuner and to this point they have yet to impress BenzBoost as they have been mostly promoting piggybacks without dynographs to support their claims.

Well, this time around they provided a dynograph and the result on this C190 Mercedes-AMG GT S is 686 crank horsepower. They managed to tune for the upgraded TTE turbochargers:

      TTE760+ Turbochargers
      MCPIPES Downpipes & 200CPI CATS
      MCCHIP-DKR Software
Result 680PS 800Nm (capped for gearbox)
      (Series power 510PS 650Nm)
      100-200 6.0 PBOX

686 crank on the WinDyn means output at the wheels is likely well below the 600 whp mark. The torque figure is 620 lb-ft at the crank.

Note, this output is capped to preserve the dual clutch gearbox. That is a good thing as it means with a transmission upgrade they can push it much further.

They included a 100-200 kph GPS test sprint of 6.0 seconds:

Something for our European members with the AMG GT might want to look into.

This is crank output not whp. Edited.

        Disappointing in that case.
