• HPF Stage 2.75 turbo E46 M3 hits 754 wheel horsepower

Horsepower Freaks Stage 2.75 is a recent development. The stage 2.5 as many of you know is a built motor and has seen numbers on methanol and race gas just under the 700 whp mark. Stage 2.75 differs from the 2.5 by offering a different turbo as well as the HPF 4" exhaust that is used on the Stage 3 as well. 754 whp is impressive and we congratulate HPF on a job well done. More power clearly isn't necessary so how about that 10 second slip already?

^ Are you planning on revving it higher or did you just do it as a precaution?

and holy $#@!, Evil Twin Rob's car made 724whp? was just checking out his vids, damn...
Rob's car did 724rwhp for 1 glory dyno pull and then they turned it way down before delivering it back to him.

The 137mph trap speed was due to faulty timing equipment at the dragstrip he visited: http://www.bimmerboost.com/content.p...raps-disproved

Rob's actual trap speeds are ~132mph after timing equipment was fixed/replaced.

Nothing against Rob--he is a very stand-up guy and was a victim of poorly maintained track equipment.

A 630 whp s4 that weights 3600lbs went 10.50s at 140 with a 1.8 sixty foot if a hpf car with 740whp only trapped 137 something is up. A 1.8 sixty foot can be achieved fairly easy even if the diff is like glass. Ive seen z06s roll off the light like there at a stop light and make 1.8 sixty foots on street tires. Look MHP's 10 sec C63 only cut a 1.8 sixty foot and ran tens at 130 with a lot more weight and about 200whp less then evil robs car.

3600lbs and went 140 traps with only 630whp?

i call bs, either its lighter than that, made more power than that, track was messed up or it did 630 through an Auto...? The power to weight does not add up to that trap...

A 650whp Evo that weighs the same will do mid 130's...well i guess they weigh more like 3400-3500 but still... Hell a 600whp new Z06 will trap 132-134 and they weigh alot less than 3600

Its GEARING that makes it all work... F1 cars make low ass tq yet they are fast as hell, how do they do that? RPM + GEARING....

In all honesty you want to be at the top of 4th when crossing the line... Problem i see is if Rob was at top of 4th @ 137 then the higher powered cars will need to shift into 5th which will hurt the ET/MPH... Taller tires or changing the final drive will take car of that, or rev those motors out!
A Honda weights 900kg that is why it need less hp/torque to make 9sec passes.

A well setup honda can run a 9 sec pass with 650whp/400tq weighing in at 2400lbs... my car runs mid 10's with 320tq weighing in at 2550.. TQ is not the issue here

Yes, but having a fast Honda is like being smart for a retard.

I respect Honda tuning by the way, I also respect the mentally challenged for their struggle.

He wasn't running 700+ whp when he trapped that and that trap was not accurate anyway.

Z06's weigh nothing and have a good amount of torque without lag so not a fair comparison.

MHP's C63's are launching with autos, easier to 60 foot.

        FWD = who cares.

I really do like honda modding though and what they do with those motors in NA form. I still do not understand why BMW motors do not get pushed NA like Honda motors do. Likely a matter of $ and well, anyone and everyone mods hondas.

Pretty much. Can do almost all work myself. I bought my girls 96 civic ex coupe just drive.
It's boring tho. I know a nice Honda crowd get me what I need for good price.
Probably do engine swap and turbo kit.

are you for real? MHPs car is only cutting a 1.8 sixty foot which is honestly not that good at all. And made what they said about 520whp. A intake tune exhaust z06 traps 132 making about 480-495whp. My buddies 580whp N/A C6 z06 trapped 144 on a full slick and front runner. The s4 weights that much made that power on a dyno dynamics hub dyno and is a six speed car.

Hondas are strange in general when i was at mir for import domestic shoot out they were trapping 179mph and running 8.90s
