• Gintani Supercharged E92 M3 on 91 octane only - 525 whp

      Here are the results from a recent Gintani Supercharger install on a BMW E92 M3. The vehicle already had a Gintani race exhaust installed a few months earlier. It is important to note this setup is running 7 psi on 91 octane only. This is a result that is putting down numbers similar to what early meth setups at around the same boost did on the Gintani Dyno Dynamics. This displays an excellent grasp of S65 tuning as we have not seen 7 psi on the stock motor from anyone else on 91 octane alone. The dynograph below depicts in red the baseline run before the supercharger install vs. the green run displaying Horsepower and Torque with the Gintani supercharger kit installed. Gains of +195.7wHp@8250 rpm and +117.7wTq@7150rpm with just the supercharger + exhaust on 91 pump.

        Sure looks like it has evolved to be able to do this. I do not believe there is anyone else running 7 psi on 91 octane successfully on stock internals.

        those r some outrageous numbers, especially on stock internals/91. Gintani knows their $#@!

        Nice results! My car with race fuel and Meth made 503whp @8psi on Gintani's DD's, and this new dyno curve looks better as well. A few months later at 9psi, the car made 579whp on a DJ, seeing the 6MT Gintani cars seem to make a little more power than the DCT, I would say that car is probably close to 570 whp on specialty Z's DJ, but that's just a guess, regardless very impressive results at only 7psi on 91.

        I find it funny that the dme for the this car can be tuned without a piggyback or some sort of standalone. Very impressive

        Tuning for an SC is different from tuning for a turbo.

        I think it could happen with the right people buildng it.
        I'll never say never. At one point the haters said the s54 was a timebomb with the first sc kit at extra low boost. Now look!

        I seen an odd thread on another forums saying some crazy stuff about Gintaini, Oe tuning, and Sticky.
