    • 9 second stock motor M156 - Weistec Stage III supercharged W204 C63 AMG tuned by Autowerks Australia runs 9.945@140.72

Congratulations to Autowerks Automotive in Australia who showed it is indeed possible to run 9's on the stock M156 engine internals. We knew this would be coming as just earlier this year an Australian C63 with the Weistec Stage III setup ran 10.1 @ 139.

The difference here is better conditions and custom tuning by Autowerks Automotive.

      Full specs:

      Weistec Stage 3
      Built transmission
      60mm pulley
      Race fuel (
      17 inch slicks Hoosier
      Skinny fronts
      Stock M156 internals
      655 rear wheel horsepower
      Exhaust cut out's
Weight reduction including removed back seats

This is a P31 package car which means stronger engine internals borrowed from the SLS M159.

Congratulations to all involved and on the quickest stock internal C63 in the world.

        Wow cutting a 1.5 60'.

Impressive job! Was this a coupe or a sedan? That thing is putting the power down. I would love to see the launch on video.

Sick. Nothing like a 4 door sedan running 9s that can also get the groceries! Dare I say 4DSC?

Goodness that is impressive. Really puts into perspective how $#@! turbo E8x/9x are at getting out of the hole. That car is making serious use of its power.

Always loved the W204 AMGs. Beautiful cars, badass motor, can legitimately be used in daily life. Honestly i'd prefer one of these to an F80 M3 Click here to enlarge

It's a big motor with a twin screw so tons of torque down low. No turbo lag and it's automatic so they have always had good 60 foots.

The F80 M3 is almost 500 pounds lighter. If it wasn't for the crank hub issue I wouldn't prefer the C63 but they are different cars.

If you think I have a BMW bias you haven't been reading BimmerBoost.

The C63 is more mid-size luxury sedan than sports coupe. That's all.

So there has been some dispute about the power the car is making and weight it carried. FYI it weighed in at 1680kg with out driver. Interior missing was back seat and passenger seat. Everything else was there. Other c63s have run very close to a 9 with almost similar set ups in Aus. This proves 9s are possible on a stock motor.

Should have already been obvious to people but sometimes you just have to show the numbers to get it through their heads.

What happened to our Arab friends that were saying this was impossible?

Hmmm I figured if any strip would produce a 9 second stock internal M156 it would be Yas Marina in the middle of the summer Click here to enlarge
