• First Supercharged M156 63 AMG Motor by Weistec Engineering

Here we have a teaser video of a supercharged M156 V8 on he C63 AMG. There has been a lot of discussion of this not being possible and extremely difficult to excute. So far, it seems Weistec has been able to get the hardware down using a 2.3 liter twin screw supercharger. We do not know what boost they are running (likely somewhere in the 6-7 psi range if on pump) and we do not know the cost or even who is doing the tuning. More on this as it develops but we are glad to see this is being attempted and development is moving along.

I think you both should relax. This is the $#@! I'd expect on m3post and its pretty low with the stupid comments being made. Stick to the topic, he clearly has more experience on that car thank you guys do. For now wait and see until the kits are out to the public; and we'll see what they say first hand instead of just making up bull$#@! remarks when nobody has seen $#@!.

This is all very true and worthy of respect.

Guys, we are all on the same team here. We are way too small to be fighting amongst ourselves or alienating anyone. Just a tinge of respect from all sides would go a long way toward calming this down. MHP has great results and is at the forefront of performance of the M156 right now.

So, please, at least for respect for the growth of the site and to the benefit of the community let's discuss this like adults.

Mhp is just mad they cannot themselves develop something as complex as a supercharger kit. Pity as their email tunes might have done well.
Taza, you are out of line here. MHP is a premier vendor on BimmerBoost, BenzBoost, and AudiBoost and will be treated with respect.

You are capable of asking questions in a much more constructive manner, no need for this.

You are trying to tell a vendor to leave a thread? Frank, are you crazy? Please, stop with that.

I had to because he's a supporting vendor, like seriously?

He's a premier vendor, so I shouldn't have to start reminding everyone that no one is above the rules.

I like to keep things open, but this is not helping anyone and just alienating people. Same team guys, we don't need this.

I do think the good thing about a blower is that nobody else can offer that amount of power w/out the car being extremely loud if I am correct. I know MHP sells the silencers which is pretty cool, but I'd assume even with those on a catless car w/ long tubes its still very loud. So now there are options if it all works out correctly

I get that, but for some as a daily driver it might be too much. I prefer n/a engines as well. But I actuactually love the whine of a roots blower. Never bad to have options
