    • Why some people need Quattro - Woman + RWD BMW + Snow = Laughs

The winter driving season is among us and many of us have RWD BMW's that can be a handful if driven improperly in the snow. One needs to be careful and make sure they have the proper tires. It probably is a good idea to know the car is RWD as well and not leave it in gear while trying to push it along like this lady did. An automatic Audi is no doubt in her future.

Nah, same thing would have happened in the US. People would rather sit there and video something and put it up on youtube than be genuine human beings concerned about others.

lolol Cold world these days, I remember 10 11 years ago being stuck on the " highway " in Russia with no gas people would stop and put a hose in their tank and get you some gas, or being stuck in 20 inches of snow not cleaned lol everyone would stop and try to pull you out.

Saying "She's about to hit the house" And just keep filming is Really stupid if it's your own house...
Granted, the woman is utterly stupid.

Exactly, I was in Europe years ago driving with my uncle when he ran out of gas. He stood on the side of the road for a bit and probably 10 people stopped to offer him some gas.

It is just a different mentality. When a cop has a radar trap set up, everyone warns one another by flashing their lights. Here, people are just like, whatever, you got caught haha.

Good point, in that case standing by and watching is perfectly acceptable.

I hope you all understand now why Quattro is far more important in the real world. If she had an Audi that would not have happened.

Agreed, Quattro is vital for keeping female drivers from running into peoples homes during the winter.

Even if she was driving a Quattro, it still wont make up for a lack of brain

Female or not, when someone needs help, it's nice to offer a hand.

Not true, someone who chooses Quattro for these situations is obviously highly intelligent.

You would choose Quattro for these situations and yet you aren't highly intelligent.

Hey - not all female BMW drivers are so inept...just have a watch, and you'll see the genius of what this woman does in very unusual circumstances:

^ Wow, not bad looks like saved it although I'm surprised water was not sucked in to the motor, or maybe it was.

Yes - I'm trying to recall where the air intake is (maybe it is located higher than the water line in the video)- as I mention in my new garage, just got my car in October so haven't looked under the hood too much yet. I would think if water got sucked in, the engine would have died instantly though...

It's fairly high up there but that water sure was close...
