Low 12's with just a plug and play tune from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder? Believe it! Australia's Willall racing was able to get the A45 AMG equipped with the M133 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged motor to run a email@example.com. This is with just a Stage I piggyback tune and pump gas. The M133 tuning scene continues to heat up and BenzBoost vendor Eurocharged is now in the mix with their offering. Eurocharged has a plug and play unit that will work with the A45 AMG, CLA45 AMG, and likely the GLA45 AMG as well once it is officially on the streets as these models all share the same M133 four-cylinder motor. The specifications for the W222 S600 have leaked early and there are some interesting technical pieces to note. The first of which is that the S600 has the exact same M279 twin turbo V12 as the W222 S65 AMG. Unlike in the previous W221 generation S-Class the twin turbo V12 does not get a displacement reduction for S600 duty. And here it finally is, the new 2015 GLA45 AMG. The design is exactly as expected although much cleaner than the model Mercedes-Benz brought to the LA Auto covered in decals. The GLA45 AMG shares the CLA45 AMG drivetrain including the incredible M133 four-cylinder motor with an output of 355 horsepower from the small 2.0 liter four-cylinder. Well how about that? It's funny how things work out sometimes when you achieve a goal that is a by-product of your focus on something else. In July of this year Mercedes stated they did not expect to win the 2013 luxury sales race and also stated they were fine with that implying that BMW fudges their sales numbers anyway. Mercedes instead decided to focus on quality and building the best cars in their respective segments they possibly could. ...
