The Weistec SLR Biturbo system is still under development so few details will be shared at this time. What we can tell you is it will be officially released later this year. Additionally, Weistec will have M155K V8 built motor options with forged internals for those that want big boost. The system will be sold as a package.
As far as power figures expect some eye opening numbers when the time comes.
The Weistec SLR McLaren Biturbo System is the pinnacle of SLR performance. Cast Inconel manifolds flank the 5.5L V8, supplying ball bearing turbochargers and external waste gates with high flowing exhaust gases. These gases are then routed via 304 stainless steel downpipes, paired with aerospace grade bellows, and connect to the mufflers. The biturbo’s forced air charge is tri-cooled via an additional intercooler and cooling circuit working in conjunction with the factory intercoolers, allowing for high performance and consistency in any climate.
