• BMW flogs the 2015 F82 M4 on an impromptu racetrack on top of an aircraft carrier

The topic sounds absurdly cool, does it not? The video itself of actually seeing it happen is also absurdly cool and well done. Before anyone says anything the video is not real. Nuclear aircraft carriers are not exactly available for rent from the US government so you can build a race track on top and have fun flogging your car. Considering some of these taxes and programs US citizens pay for BimmerBoost is not exactly opposed to the US government giving enthusiasts some track time on top of an aircraft carrier.

Yes, the idea is awesome and there is no point debating that this is fake. BMW Canada has done great marketing videos before where people debated if they were fake. The effect is cool and the marketing department definitely does their job. Enjoy the video for what it is.

Having been on one today I can say there are unfortunately no M4s on the carrier.

haha...none of those either...you could easily drift a car around on one though, a full track like this might be a bit of a stretch.

From in front of the superstructure, looking back at across the the deck and landing area. There is around 40' behind my and as much space as you can see in the pic to my right towards the forward catapults.

Just of the same angle. I didn't get out of my jet and was trying to not make the cell phone to obvious to the tower or ground crew.

The crew from the ship took a few though and put them on their page.

My jet right before going into the catapult.
