    • Watch employees at Grismer Tire and Auto Service in Columbus, Ohio drive a customer's Porsche 996 Turbo on the grass and say that the customer should 'fuck off'

Dash cams are slowly but surely changing the automotive landscape. Ever wonder how employees feel about you or treat your car when drop off your prized possession for service? Well these employees clearly do not care. The job is a simple alignment, nothing more. The employee driving the car seems to not give a damn about this owner's car taking it on the grass in front of the shop (where he could kick up a rock, mess up a rim, etc.) instead of on the pavement like a normal human being.

He then pulls into the shop where he begins by saying he doesn't like the car. That is after one of the other employees asks how he likes it implying of course that they take liberty sampling customer cars. He then says, 'Fucking dealer gets about $300 to align one of these. What we need is someone to tell the customer no or to fuck off.'

Yep, telling the customer to fuck off sounds like a genius idea for generating business. The employee seems angry and disgruntled to say the least as he continues on with expletives and that he would have no problem telling customers off.

It's fortunate this 996 Turbo owner left his dash cam on so he could see what the employees think of his business and also how they treat his car. Would I ever use these people to align my car? Hell no, and neither should anyone else.

Is the constant stream of negativity necessary? I apologize for standing up for what is right and making sure companies, or any company for that matter, know that if they take substantial liberties with enthusiast's property we will stand up to make it known. Whether the issue is taking a joy ride across a lawn or going street racing with a car, this network has consistently stood up for enthusiasts and will continue to do so because it is the RIGHT thing to do.

I am glad this owner got a refund and I'm glad his car was not damaged in the process. I'm also happy that Grismer will likely make sure nothing like this happens again.

Go ahead and put a camera in any work environment and see how people talk. Who cares its just talk, once they drove the car over the grass, that crossed a line. Pretty simple, but you can sit on your high horse while you bash your customers on a regular basis, pretty funny to be honest.
Sorry dude but you are WAY off base. I'm not a "customer" here, I'm not paying for anything and I'm certainly not receiving any goods or services. The way I'm treated here is 100% dictated by how I act and what I say. Sticky is under no obligation to treat the users here a certain way because said users are not paying to be here. You on the other hand, ARE. And as a paying vendor, you are entitled to a certain amount of customer service if you will. But saying the users here are customers is not accurate at all nor is the correlation you are trying to draw.
And as a business owner, I find it troubling that you would condone this sort of behavior from an employee. Perhaps you don't hold your employees to a higher standard, maybe you should.

No my friend, you are missing the oh so important big picture of how business works. Sticky owns these forums, we pay sticky to vend our products here, why? Because we want to sell Sticky a bunch of turbos and DP's and piggy backs? No, because you guys are here, we pay to be here because Sticky pays good money for servers to host this forum, to bring YOU here, we are here because you are here not because Sticky is here. If you were not Stickys customer base, we would not pay monthly to advertise here, it is an extremely simple concept that are overlooking. You are customers of Bimmerboost the moment you filled out that sign up forum whether you want to believe it or not.

You are completely turning this into some kind of negative issue against me and my forum. Regardless, the potential customers are yours. They happen to be my users for my forum network.

Now I believe the vast majority are here due to my positive and diligent efforts going on five years now to provide the best tuning content available. It is not because I am some hand holding non-confrontationalist here to give people an ego boost. It is not because I have to sit here and take any abuse from trolls because I do not. This is a forum based on results and strength. Not everyone can handle it and not everyone should. Hence the entire internet out there of options.

Regardless, you are derailing a thread about how employees should care for someone else's possesion when it is entrusted to their care for the duration of the work. If you receive a test car, do you eat in it? Do you take it across lawns? Do you berate the customer in private for providing you with it?

Users and customers are different things but you are again negatively applying a unilateral equivocation of this for reasons unknown. I am glad this issue was made public and it was resolved. I also hope any pressure applied means safety for everyone else's possessions as vendors are aware people are listening... and watching. Dollars are hard earned Tony, I prefer to spend them where I know it is appreciated.

I see where you are going with this, but you are still wrong. I am not Stickys customer, YOU ARE. I am not buying anything from this forum and I'm not paying to be here. Not sure why that is so hard for you to understand. YOU are the customer here, and the USERS here are your potential customers. And since so many of your potential customers are reading this, I suggest you drop it and move on before any of your potential customers decide not to do business with someone who condones such behavior.

Perhaps we can all agree that this issue is resolved and remove this thread. After all it was my car and I removed my video from youtube in order to forgive and forget.

Did they only issue the refund after Sticky sent them the video?

@Sticky the guy who made the video wants the thread gone. It's resolved. No reason to keep potentially hurting the company's name by keeping this thread up...

He's the one who put this out there in the first place, not me. I just did what I could to make the public and company aware.

They issued refund regardless of video, video was meant to bring out a philosophical debate and not to punish small business. The only reason how their name came out is because their logo flashes in one of the frames. I did not notice it, otherwise I would have cut it out. My video was not linked to their trade name in any way. If someone here wants to turn this into cash, it is not I.
The only benefit to all of this IMHO is a wake up call for Grismer, so they invest more in quality of the work they do and I believe they are wide awake now.
Public service is done, let's move on.

Come on now man, your original title provided the address. Let's not pretend here.

For people to see what happened? I mean you made it, you posted it, you made it public. If there was nothing wrong why did you build it up the way you did? Why include the address or the sign if you didn't want to implicate anyone?

My responsibility is to report and report I did. I hope enthusiasts benefit with quality service and that would be what I hope to accomplish.
