The 2015 F16 X6 leaks out early - Pictures
Here is an early preview of the next generation F16 X6 which will debut as a 2015 model year car. The vehicle takes the majority of its styling cues from the F15 X5 (including the front fender vent) in a similar manner to the previous generation. The main difference between the X6 and the X5 is of course the sloping rear back and 'coupe' proportions of the X6. One would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the front of the new F15 X5
and F16 X6 unless they really studied their BMW's.
The drivetrain will of course mimic the X5. That means an xDrive50i with the upgraded N63TU twin turbo V8 bumping horsepower to 445
. This of course is paired to the same automatic transmission and same all wheel drive system. The other initial choice will be the xDrive35i with the N55 twin turbo six-cylinder motor.
Expect an official reveal any day now with all the official details after this leak. What BimmerBoost any many enthusiasts are waiting on is to see what BMW does with the next generation X6M model.
