    • M113K V8 today's best Mercedes/AMG tuning value? Dyno-Comp Stage 6 M113K V8 before/after results on W215 CL55 AMG, +137 wheel horsepower

The supercharged M113K V8 55 AMG's are a great value on the used market today. This car was once over $100,000.00 and now can be picked up in the ~$20,000.00 range depending on mileage. The cars do not exactly hold their value but that is a good thing for today's buyers as the vehicles are a Mercedes tuning value especially when compared to the newer M157 twin turbo V8 based AMG's. The supercharged V8 responds very well to modifications as the dynographs below show.

Dyno-Comp got a baseline of 408 wheel horsepower 470 pound-feet of torque at the wheels for the stock CL55 AMG. With what they refer to as a Stage 6 performance package output rises to 545 wheel horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. Keep in mind this is on a Dyno Dynamics dynamometer.

Essentially, with bolt on modifications output goes up by almost 200 horsepower at the crank. Great results and once again a great tuning value including the cost of the car.
