• MRC Tuning C7 RS6 4.0 TFSI V8 before and after Stage I ECU tune dyno results - +141 horsepower

Audi does not import the C7 generation RS6 into the United States. They also did not import the previous generation C6 RS6 to the USA a tragedy bordering on the criminal. Regardless, as the RS6 and RS7 share the same 4.0 TSFI V8 it is interesting to see Stage I dyno results for the motor. This Stage I tune is from the UK Audi tuner MRC Tuning and there results are quite impressive. How does another 141 horsepower with just a Stage I tune sound?

Keep in these are figures at the crank. The baseline on the CARTEC dynamometer MRC Tuning uses shows a slightly underrated 572 horsepower. After the tune, this rises to a total of 713.9 or we can just round it off to 714. Over 700 horsepower with just a tune? That's some serious power potential the RS6 and RS7 are packing under the hood.

With bolt ons and a race gas tune 800+ crank on the stock turbos is well within the realm of possibility. Over a 1000 horsepower with upgraded turbos may even become the norm for these cars. The Audi 4.0 TFSI is simply a beast.

All this from 4 liters. Wow. Wonder what they could do with an S8. Too bad you have to buy an RS 7 to get one of these engines in a midsize sport sedan.

Or throw a bunch money at APR to get them to put it in an a/s/rs 5.

Should have enough room in engine bay.

Looks like they extended the redline another ~500 rpm and it's still holding power up there ! That's one thing I don't like about the Benz and Audi biturbos the low 6400 rpm redline so 7000 would be great .. Hope the torque converter can hold it

There was a video from audi them selves, lots of stuff is different
cams, valves, cooling, trans, turbos. Video shows you each different peace and the improvement made. Link is in the APR comments if i recall
