    • Willall Racing Stage I tuned CLA45 AMG M133 goes 12.3@112.82 in the 1/4 mile

Nice results here from a Stage I tune only CLA45 AMG running the Willall Racing piggyback tune. These numbers essentially back up in the CLA45 AMG what Wilall Racing already hit in the A45 AMG (not sold in the United States) which was a 12.280 @ 112.14. Utilizing the same Stage I piggyback tune on the CLA45 AMG yielded a 12.381 @ 112.82 1/4 mile run. It's safe to say the established performance level M133 engine owners can expect from a Stage I tune is low 12's in the 1/4 mile at around the 112 mark.

It looks like on the stock turbo with supporting bolt on modifications such as to the exhaust or intercooler 1/4 mile ET's breaking into the 11 second range are possible. With more aggressive Stage II race gas tunes maybe even mid 11's are well within the realm of expectation.

Pretty impressive from a factory 2.0 liter four-cylinder and likely a more stout platform than most likely anticipated.

        Nice run.
When will we see tuned CLA250's running the 1/4 ????
I am very curious to see how the 2 cars compare once tuned.

I am especially looking forward to see what a tuned c400 can run once they are released.

I'm trying to focus on the positive.......as per your request.

Who knows, if I buy another new Corvette, maybe I'll replace my G37x winter beater with a 4matic CLA or C400 for a winter beater.

It's more of a common courtesy thing.

I don't know when we will see CLA250 numbers but that car is much, much weaker even with a tune.

The 60' is pretty disappointing considering AWD and DCT.... Do we know if it is traction limited, bogging due to low launch control engagement or just a laggy turbo? This is an 11 second car if it can get out of the hole properly.

I don't know what the launch control RPM is on this or what kind of launch they did.

Who is tuning the 4matic CLA250 and what are the dyno/ timeslip results ????

What are the major differences between the CLA45 and the CLA250????

I haven't really seen any CLA250 results. I think there are baseline dyno numbers around here somewhere.

Although I absolutely LOVE the DCT and AWD of the CLA250, they are selling for $32k with ZERO options.
It would be hard to pass up the G37x sedan for the same money. Although, the 15-17mpg I'm getting with mine SUCKS.

It will be interesting to see the performance and price difference between a tuned CLA250 and a tuned C400.

A tuned C400 will be in another league.

        We all know that.
It's still going to be interesting to see how they compare in performance and price.

I gotta tell ya, the new C-class is the first Benz sedan that I LOVE the look of and am really impressed with.
It just sucks the c400 is supposedly not getting a DCT.

well they say the GLA 250 does 0-60 in 6.4 seconds. So it might be slightly faster than that due to weight.

edmunds puts the CLA 250 at 14.6 at 95.3 and 0-60 in 6.4 seconds.

To be honest though if it's the 30k range I'd get an impreza wrx. The 2015 model does a 13.6 and is AWD and you can get one around 27k. But no DCT so city driving will be hell on the knees.
