    • Eurocharged tuned W211 E55 AMG takes on all comers including a handful of 335's, 135i, Tial B5 S4, and turbo Mustang Cobra

Very nice video here from GermanBoost Network member Urbamworm pitting his modified E55 AMG against several cars from a roll. His W211 E55 AMG features a pulley upgrade, Kleemann headers, an 80mm throttle body, Eurocharged heat exchanger, supercharger coolant tank to help with heat soak, and a ECU/TCU tune from GermanBoost premier vendor Eurocharged. The car is also on 20 inch wheels from Vossen. The E55 does very well for a bolt on stock blower car.

Basically, it makes easy work for the N54 based cars which are the BMW 335's and the 135i. The B5 S4 is running Tial 605 turbos pushing a healthy 25 psi of boost but it also falls back quickly. The only car that beats it although the run is very close is the turbocharged Mustang Cobra featuring a Precision 6766 turbo at 10 psi. The Cobra is the 4.6 liter V8 'Terminator' model that comes supercharged from the factory and debuted in 2003.

If we were to guess the E55 is said to be trapping 120 on the 20's inch rims although it looks stronger than that in the video. A bit more could probably be squeezed out of it considering some stock blower E55's have cracked 130 miles per hour (many with nitrous) but diminishing returns come quickly from pushing the stock 2.1 liter blower out of its efficiency range. To get more power, the Weistec 3.0 liter upgraded should be considered.

Regardless, this is a very healthy E55 AMG that runs strong. Thank you to @Urbamworm for the video.

Looks like fun. What kind of transmissions were in the Bimmers?

Nice runs, your car looks like a beast up top. Looks like you must be from Jax area? I recognize Bill's white E90. I'll have to get a run in with you if i ever make it out on the weekends again. PS. that B5 is SLOW. That car is never running right, i put a few bus lengths on him last time we ran.

        Good stuff.

Your car definitely moves out, especially on the top end. Have you ever taken it to a track to see what kind of MPH and ET you're getting?

Yes I am in Jacksonville. I actually just took the E55 to Gainesville on Saturday. I was running on 20" wheels like in the video and street tires so didn't expect any great times but just wanted to see what it would trap. I ran 2 times and went 12.1@120 and then I bounced the limiter shifting manually from 1st to 2nd on 2nd run and went 12.2@118, both runs with a 2.0 60ft time.

If those are all stock turbo 335's thats why you are walking them up top, the stock turbos run out of breath, find one of our stage 2 cars, or an RB car. They should be able to pull with you up top, would be an interesting race.

Yes the are all stock turbo. All but one had catless downpipes and then they all but one had intakes and 2 had meth injection. I think I remember one saying something about map 5 for his Juicebox tune? And the white one was running 18.5psi from what he said on meth.

If there are any others in the area I would be more than happy to meet up. @lulz_m3, what is done to yours, similar to these guys or more?

A good running 335 with upgraded turbos and a custom tune will run sub 11.5's if he is automatic, an MT has to be a good driver on good tires or street slicks to get any close to that, but from a roll they should all do ok.

I could run a mid 11 if I was on drag radials right now, but as you know that is all up to the 60ft in which when I went to the track with my 20s they were 2.0 instead of 1.5 or 1.6s with a smaller wheel and drag radial setup. What would a common trap speed be? Not the "world record" but what "most" would run if they went to the track with upgraded turbos?

They run anywhere from 122-127 depending on the car.

Lots of people running lots of different set ups.

Here is a copy and paste of a tuners sig. You can see the big MPH differences

I've never seen a stock blower E55 walk a FBO + meth n54 especially a 135i. Great runs for sure but I have a couple here I've built/tuned that I'd love to see against your e55.

Ok so looking at that sig those are all world records so one should expect most others to run a few mph lower than those numbers in all the different examples.

I can say for certain that all the cars I met weren't running 120mph since the very next day that is what I ran at the track and as you see in the video I pulled on every last one of them 335i or 135i, the fastest one there that night might have trapped 116.
