• Full Dynojet dynographs and video of the Gintani Stage 2 700+ wheel horsepower S85 V10 E63 M6 and E60 M5 supercharger kit

Last month BimmerBoost posted a teaser article showing a new BMW S85 V10 horsepower record set by Gintani on a stock internal E63 M6 showing the peak horsepower figures. Below, you will find the full Dynojet dynographs in both STD and SAE correction factors. The graphs also show boost figures as well as the air/fuel ratio. The S85 V10 is finally showing what is capable of and keep in mind this is a 9.5 psi stock internal car. There is much more to come from the S85 V10.

Further details in Gintani's own words below. Additionally, pay no attention to the description at the bottom of the graphs detailing clutch slip, fuel, and boost which does not apply here. Somebody at Gintani simply forgot to edit that out of the Dynojet software and it is a description for a different car:

This is our personal shop car. It was on 91+100 mix octane with methanol on 9.5psi. We thought you might enjoy this. We know people have been asking if this kit can be sent out and installed by other shops. Yes, it can. The kit is provide with all parts, instructions and flash cable. We are very confident in our kit and believe it is the best option for the s85 on the market. We do intense and constant testing on and off the track. Our kit does not have any heat soaking issues on or off the track. This is just the start of how much we will push the envelope with the s85. Next in line will come a DCT swap and a built motor. This setup still has some power left in it. We should be getting it back on the dyno again soon to see how much more we can pull out.

LOL $#@!er, when your car is driving I will send. Idk if I would feel too comfy spending money on a car I can't see or drive. That's an okay deal I guess with the low miles, but an 01 Click here to enlarge.

The 997 is the better buy I feel as the 991 didn't make it quite as outdated due to the headlights remaining basically the same. So it will hold its value better not to mention the interior and transmission options are superior.

That said the 996 is a great value. It hasn't aged well though.

The creature comforts of the 997 are very hard to ignore, but if you're just looking to build a high HP car then get the 996 and put the extra $20k+ towards mods. Especially because a lot of the Porsche guys are ditching the stock flash + EBC tunes for standalones, there's a good chance you'll be messing w/ the electronics and can easily redo the center console with a gauge cluster + NAV.

Regardless, both are Mezger motor Porsches and you can't go wrong. Now if we'd only see more turbo GT3s Click here to enlarge

Turbo GT3's are the better way to go IMO. Harder, more expensive, but more rewarding.

You can't compare a factory forced induction car to a naturally aspirated car but considering they are getting 700 whp out of these I know what I would put my money on in that race.
