• OE Tuning X6 M S63 Dyno Tune + 79 ft-lb of torque at the wheels

      OE tuning recently did a custom dyno tune for an X6 M. The torque gains through the curve as immense as one can see. The peak HP gain is only just over 20 hp at all 4 wheels. It appears the stock turbos seem to run out of steam up top. The torque difference is a whopping 79 pound-feet at all four wheels at under 3500 rpm.

        First off, I am in LOVE with that car!

        Second, if someone were to just look at the numbers and not the graph, they wouldn't get a understanding of how ENORMOUS those gains are! Thing probably pins you back so hard with that low end torque!

        That is specifically why I made sure to mention the torque gains under the curve and not focus on peak HP.

        This isn't designed to be a high revving monster, may take some adjustment for BMW M fans.

        I would rock that x6! Basically, it looks like the shift points needs to be ~6600rpm.

        Sticky, what are the differences in the N63 and s63?? I assume the s63 is for M vehicles just like everything else.

        My only guff is the fact that low end tq is what kills trannys. The last thing I want is a modded x6m with a busted auto transmission. As it currently sits there is probably more tq down low than is even realistically usable without shredding the tires. Lets get this v8 reving to 8k like the m3 and we'll be talking Click here to enlarge

        Ecu tuning, turbos, and exhaust manifolds.

        These are 5200+ pound SUV's, shredding tires with AWD isn't a problem. They need the torque to move their big fat asses.

        The hp curve does drop off a cliff though, not sure what is up with the curves of these turbo BMW motors.
