• Weistec Stage 2 supercharged daily driven C63 AMG goes 10.7@130 in the 1/4 mile

Daily driven 10 second C63 AMG trapping at 130+ in the 1/4 mile? No problem. This C63 AMG is from Long Beach California and was driven up to the Famoso Drag strip. The owner just changed the rear tires and wheels to a drag setup and the result was 10.794 @ 130.23 miles per hour with a very nice 1.612 60 foot. He clearly is hooking up very well and has just about maximized what he can hit with his Stage II 2.3 liter twin screw.

As a reminder, the Weistec Stage II supercharger consists of the components listed below and is good for an increase of over 144 wheel horsepower over stock. This car also has long tube headers.

Weistec Stage II M156 supercharger Key Features:

Congrats again to the owner and Weistec. This is really a feat considering the fact this car is the non-p31, full interior, stock block and stock transmission. I met the owner at no-fly zone and ran him just to see how I would hang. It inspired me to purchase a Weistec blower for sure lol.

The Point is , You were running on race gas when you implied that you didnt. Maybe you misunderstood, I understand and its ok.

the other point is that you were making more than 660whp, so you cant compare your car with the one above!

All I saw was this , and as it stands you ran a 10.86

If you ran a 10.7 , maybe it wasnt posted. Plus, If you actually did, your car was making more whp than the C63 above, so again, you cant compare

Do it you will love it. Personally, I dont feel the quarter mile drag represents how a Weistec car performs. I think the 800meters or the full Mile runs would be much more representative. On the streets there is absolutely no comparison , as any weistec supercharged M156 would humiliate any NA M156

Dodgers car was very very fast... but it was stripped of anything added weight and even had a braille battery. Apples to apples they dont really compare. 10.6 is 10.6 though..

You implied you made the run without race fuel when in fact you were running race fuel.

wow. I just wished you luck and this is how you reply?

Anybody who read your post ,would understand that you were runing without race fuel. Plus, whether you did or not and for the LAST time, you cannot compare your car with the C63 as your was making much more whp.

so please, Drop it and move on :-)

You made a mistake, we can see that. No problem and as I said earlier its ok.

Let's not factor in the negative DA, the lightened car, or that the vehicle received a little extra attention for promotional purposes.

Anyone who thinks an NA M156 will be faster than a blown M156 is an idiot.

Pretty sure he said to drop it and yet you can't but feel the need to say he made a mistake. Why do you have to make such a big deal out of everything ?

Jacob - If I remember correctly you are the one who said the SLS BS would get a V12 motor and even went so far as to bet me and then backed out of the bet. So you really shouldn't be criticizing others for the same errors in judgement you've made in the past.

And as far as a Stage I C63 being slower than a bolt on CTS-V, it can absolutely happen. Since that is such a general statement, what if the CTS-V had a stripped interior, full exhaust running lots of boost full drag setup vs a Stage I C63 full weight street setup and tires. Pretty sure that scenario would prove you and others here wrong. Best not to make such generalized statements that make you look more ignorant than you already are.

        Merry CHRISTmas!!!

The point I was trying to make was, stock vs. stock, I'd take a C63 over a CTS-V.
But, if I am going to go FI, I'd rather start with a car that was FI from the factory.
The fact that the LSx engine has such strong aftermarket support, a blown LSx makes more sense to me than a blown C63.

The next C63 is going to be FI from the factory, so this will be a moot point.
Although, the LSx/LTx will always have stronger aftermarket support.

Personally, the combination of AWD, FI, and DCT are why I am going MB for my next car.
GM is too stupid to offer AWD and DCT and I refuse to buy a 2014 car with a 1996 transmission.
