    • 633 wheel horsepower S63TU - F10 M5 with Switzer piggy back tune puts down some big numbers

      The last time BimmerBoost reported on the Switzer P700 package for the F10 M5 the car fitted with the P700 package cracked the 600 wheel barrier with a 604 wheel horsepower run on a Dynojet in SAE correction. Definitely an impressive level of power but EAS (European Auto Source) recently tested an F10 M5 on their in house Dynojet and showed a peak of 633 wheel horsepower although in STD which will often read higher depending on the dyno conditions.

      Additionally, this car has AMS catless downpipes which clearly are making quite a difference and an Akrapovic exhaust system. What makes this all the more impressive is this car is putting down the power on California 91 octane pump gas.

      The tune is not a flash so there are pluses and minuses but there is no debating the F10 M5 is starting to put out some serious power with bolt on modifications.

        this is the first time I've seen a f10 m5 video and have nothing bad to say... sounds great and putting down nice power keep up the great work!

        EAS is known for having a high reading dyno Atleast I've heard so a few times .. Guy ran a bone stock 2012 m5 and put down 536 wheel horsepower. Either way still impressive and it's putting down over 600 wheel no matter where ya put it. Are they still using a piggyback or flash tune?

        I think it does read a little bit high but still, good numbers.

        Yupp exactly my thoughts still a monster for bolt ons. These new turbo motors are silly 600+ wheel with bolt ons is becoming the norm. This car doesn't have the gruppe M intakes either which should add more power plus other things like inlet tubes, higher octane etc. so there's still more in bolt on performance. And what I find most impressive about the s63tu compared to M157 and Audi 4.0 is the redline and almost N/A like curve. It looks similar to my m156 so it's gotta feel good on the streets with that brute force and linear delivery to 7200 rpm

        I definitely like the curve more than the other motors.

        I just want to see some big turbos on there already.

        BBi in CA (more known for their work on Porsches) was working on an aftermarket S63/S63 Tu intake manifold (a lot less restrictive, equal length tubing). Would love to see the gains that would yield, in addition to earlier spool & a smoother boost curve

        I love it. Now it needs Gruppe M intake, and RPI straight pipes so we can see where these things max out with bolt-ons only. I'm thinking 655+. I love these cars.

        That curve is beautiful. Maybe it's worth it to go up there and make an extra 5% on the dyno.

        i work with a guy with an m5 , 997 911 , and f430... the 911 is modded and is a animal f430 is a scuderia and since hes gotten the m5 he drives is 90% of the time... havent even seen the ferrari and the porsche is a once every week or two car now...

        Hed drive the porsche and ferrari pretty much every other day before the m5... says a lot

        Is the 911 all wheel drive?

        The M5 is a better daily that's why.

        I'd DD a m5 over the Porsche and Ferrari to be honest. Can seat 4 comfortably and has a trunk space and it's still pretty damn fast. Beside i'd enjoy beating on American Muscle with a 4 door Monster!

        The Porsche and Ferrari I'd be worried about getting door checked more and scratched up more! People see an M5 they might not realize what kind of BMW it is. But a Porsche 911 and a Ferrari yeah they'll notice that!

        i should have wrote a precursor, this guys daily drive is driving like theres ten seconds left in the world... he has a PE-700 kit on it that he daily drove for years with the scuderia , he doesnt drive the m5 for its comfort he drives it like a maniac every second he drives it lol...

        It def is a better DD and maybe thats why but when i ask him he just says cause he loves it , he also has a massive turbo deisel truck, but drives the 911 on rain and snow days lol he doesnt care about dings , sratches, or dents lol

        Throw some e85 in that sucker
