• Eurocharged is building a GT30R twin turbocharged W211 E55 AMG

This is the type of project that makes BenzBoost smile. Now, you should know that the W211 E55 AMG has an M113K 5.5 liter kompressor V8 which means it is supercharged from the factory. It's a very quick car in stock form and of course can be modified for more power. The factory 2.1 liter blower gets maxed out and pushed out of its efficiency range fairly quickly so to make more power than what it is capable of it needs to be replaced with something else.

That something else in this case is two Garret 3076R turbos capable of flowing a heck of a lot more air than the OEM blower. These turbos will suffer from less parasitic loss while offering far greater power capability. They will also produce a nice large torque hit which necessitates upgraded transmission components that Eurocharged is providing for the build.

In addition to the turbos this build is using a new fuel rail with 700cc injectors, intercoolers, piping, etc.

This is a work in progress but a dynograph and video showing the hardware working are included below. What power level will this hit? We will have to wait and see but there is a lot of potential here. It's nice to see something different and for this platform to continue to move forward.

Wow unbelievable job guys! I had heard rumors that this was happening, but seeing it is crazy! Can't wait to see what kind of power these end up making. Just when I thought I got over my E55 borderline-obession.

I really should have split the threads for all the TT builds going on but eh...lol

CLS55 built by powerhaus performance and tuned by us...

She trapped 127 but couldn't build positive boost on the line lol. They are putting a new 3000rpm stall in and doing it again!

Is that a built motor? Why no thread on this car here?

        What is it putting down?

no the motor is not built. it is a budget turbo build lol. i started a thread when i started the project but never had the time to write due to spending all the free time i had in the garage. when i get done ill make a thread with all the info. no numbers yet, still tuning, street tuning. i am shooting for 500hp with no more than 10lbs of boost.
