• What does 925 wheel horsepower in a 996 GT2 translate to in the 1/4 mile? 9.7@152

USP Motorsports has been pushing their 996 GT2 shop car pretty hard and showing some great results in the process. The last time we saw this GT2 in action it hit an impressive 9.80@148.85 in the 1/4 mile. USP Motorsports improved on this at the FL2K13 event with a very fast 9.7@152 1/4 mile run. How much power does it take to hit a 1/4 mile like that in the Porsche 996 GT2? A recent Dynojet run states the vehicle putting down 925 wheel horsepower.

Unfortunately there is no graph to see how the power is coming in or the curve but the timeslip definitely agrees with the power claim USP Motorsports is making on the dyno. Hopefully they post the sheet at some point but enjoy the video below of the car launching hard enough to lift the front wheels off the ground (1.39 60 foot!) as well as it on the dyno.

Yep, same car in both videos. It's the USP shop 996 GT2 sporting a solid selection of their Porsche Turbo upgrades

Just wish they posted a dyno to see the curve that the the Precision 58s create on a semi-built, 3.6 (stock displacement) motor

Can I be honest, a 925whp supercar, why are they not running a chute? The second swap could have been completely stopped with a single.

What's with the timer at the track showing a 9.48 155?

        Look a 2:11

Good question. Maybe it read incorrectly?
