    • Kleemann's 770+ horsepower Mercedes-Benz C197 SLS AMG M159 V8 supercharger system released - Dyno, video

The SLS AMG is already a very powerful car in stock form with its excellent naturally aspirated 6.2 liter M159 AMG built V8. Taking such a great motor and adding a little boost can only make it better right? How about to the tune of 770 horsepower from the stock 562-583 (depending on model year). Kleemann did provide a dyno substantiating their horsepower claims showing a peak of 770.4 horsepower a few hundred rpm before redline.

As Kleemann is based in Denmark BenzBoost.com is not familiar with the dyno used or how this dyno would translate to numbers at the wheels on Dynojet to put the figures in context. There is obviously no doubt the Eaton TVS based system will add power and the pictured exhaust upgrades are stated as required by Kleemann to realize the full power.

No USA pricing announced yet or if the specifications transfer over to 91 octane pump gas. Hopefully more details will come but until then enjoy the pictures, dynograph, and video below.

Although I do know that Weistec had some belt issues which I have seen causing issues with some of my friends here in the Middle-East.
The belt issue has not been an issue for over a year now, that was back when they were cogging them on customers cars that wanted higher boost. They have since changed to 8 and an optional 10 rib pulley. Mine and Earls's CLK's are both now making over 1000whp and we don't even have belt issues. I am in the process of testing out a higher boost pulley for Weistec on my C BS right now and I have not had any belt related issues. I have not heard of any belt related issues on their 2.3L systems in a couple years.

Not trying to knock Kleemann but the Weistec SLS makes more whp than the Kleemann SLS makes at the crank......Just sayin

I bought a set of throttle bodies from them for my C63 when I had it. I was promised a 25hp gain. Car dynoed 450 before the install, and then 445 after the install. There was a loss of power. The run was done on the same day, same dyno. In fact the post dyno was at a better condition since it was at night

i contacted Kleeman immediately and showed them all the data sheets. They told me to send the throttle bodies back and they would give me a refund. When I sent them the TB's back,They told me ,I sent them about 100 emails demanding a refund .I would call them and they would leave me pn the waiting line for as long as i can hold on until I hang Up. They only replied to me after a month saying that I needed to have the K3 ECU tune that they just developed in order to see the gains and that I needed to pay an extra 1000euros for the tune and they would send me back the TB's (More BS).

I am now standing without the 4000$ and without the TB's. Even though I told them 1000 times just to ship back the TB that I paid for. This happened back in 2011 and nothing from them and I gave up a long time ago. Kind of wish that I kept the TB's and never returned them. They tricked me pretty good.

I'm not sure what to think and why you wouldn't get a refund as Kleemann isn't MHP.

Thanks for the advice. I do not live in the USA. I dealt with the main branch in Denmark. The person that is dealing with them in the USA is I believe a guy named Cory. I hear he is an honest and respectable man. Honestly, I don't feel it's worth taking any legal action against those hustlers over $4000

Jacob I have been talking to Kleemann and would like to get this situation resolved. It's a large, ugly allegation.

Would you please PM me your last name?

@Sticky -Willing to bet there is another side to this story....as usual. The fact that he dismisses $4000 so easily makes me wonder and I find it hard to believe that Kleemann would send out those parts and then after the fact say, "oh yeah we forgot, you also need to buy our tune or the parts will not work".
But if that was in fact the case and things played out exactly as described here then I'd say, Karma's a $#@!.

I received Kleemann's side. I'll post it up shortly. Let's just say it's different.

I'm sorry but why do you feel the "Need" to resolve this issue. ??No offense, but who assigned you as a consumer claim judge?

now your siding with Kleeman? After starting a whole thread putting them down with anger for thier pull out partnership with Weistec!

sounds to me like you are trying to fix things with them.

I feel the need for accurate information regarding companies that users may or may not spend tens of thousands of dollars with.

I also feel the need if someone was wronged or if a mistake was made with a vendor that should result in a refund to make sure I do what is in my power to help said member get said refund.

It sounds to me like if this is true there is nothing to hide and can only result in a positive resolution. If a baseless allegation is made that can damage the reputation of a company needlessly it should also be confronted.
