    • Kleemann's 770+ horsepower Mercedes-Benz C197 SLS AMG M159 V8 supercharger system released - Dyno, video

The SLS AMG is already a very powerful car in stock form with its excellent naturally aspirated 6.2 liter M159 AMG built V8. Taking such a great motor and adding a little boost can only make it better right? How about to the tune of 770 horsepower from the stock 562-583 (depending on model year). Kleemann did provide a dyno substantiating their horsepower claims showing a peak of 770.4 horsepower a few hundred rpm before redline.

As Kleemann is based in Denmark BenzBoost.com is not familiar with the dyno used or how this dyno would translate to numbers at the wheels on Dynojet to put the figures in context. There is obviously no doubt the Eaton TVS based system will add power and the pictured exhaust upgrades are stated as required by Kleemann to realize the full power.

No USA pricing announced yet or if the specifications transfer over to 91 octane pump gas. Hopefully more details will come but until then enjoy the pictures, dynograph, and video below.

The car owner sent me a text me on FRI night. Front wheel speed sensor (side was not specified) had a damaged wiring harness from the tie down in the trailer. Wiring repaired and the car was fine. As far as I know he participated in the Auto-X event on SAT (perhaps others, the text was quite short).

I appreciate the level headed support (for lack of a better term) from posters. I'm still mystified at the lack of critical thinking and immediate jump to blame posture of many here.

Some guys unfortunately have drawn a line in the sand as to being fanboys of company X or company Y. It happens on multiple platforms but there still are level headed enthusiasts who don't make determinations solely on which brand is doing what.

My Kleeman supercharger on C63 BS goes like a dream, looking for more boost now to go with my custom made longtube headers. Weistec cars drive like a dream too.

        Completely untrue???

        FACTS:

Car was not running properly, car was in limp mode and owner of vehicle did contact wesitec to ask them to ascess the problem because they knew they were in town for SEMA.

So what is "completely untrue" about my comments in post #107 ?

based on KUSA's own comments in post #111 it appears my comments are spot on and accurate!

Because it is tould that it was the cable to the wheel sensor that was bad.
and nothing with the Kleemann supercharger.

A cable to the wheel sensor will not throw an ETC code and will not get the car to limp mode!
It would be a TPC (Tire Pressure Controller) issue.
@Sticky, it seems you can get people on the forum.

Can you please get a Mercedes or AMG specialist to confirm this.

Yes I agree we do need more experts here because you have no clue what you are talking about!!

Do you have any idea how much data is communicated between the wheel speed sensors and the ECU/TCU ? Not to mention braking parameters and speed sensors that directly affect traction control. An ECU that all of a sudden senses one wheel missing will DEFINITELY and immediately throw the car into limp mode at the very minimum.

I wouldn't say spot on necessarily as the portrayal was inaccurate but Kleemann cleared it all up.

Curious why you have this strong feeling...based upon what?
i get two neg reps for asking a question? I guess it is time to start playing games here.

I gave you and your puss boy buddy negative reps. Actually, I usually do. As a matter of fact, I gave you one just right now in your post #133 .

I dont like how you portray yourself as fanboy to a specific vendor. One other thing about you, is that you complain too much.

Let me know what game you plan on bringing. lol

You don't care yet you're posting about it and saying you regularly give us negative reps ? Considering how much you have to spread rep around to neg rep us and the fact that you spent the time to create multiple usernames to belittle me specifically I'd say you actually care quite a bit LOL !!

Nope, I dont. I just hit the red button on you LADIES.
lastly, I never created multipule usernames . As confirmed by the Admin of this forum. "LZH Sucks balls thread" is just furthur proof of how members disrespect you on the forums. ever ask yourself why?I always give positve reps to everybody. I like sharing positive reps to true enthusiasts that come here and actullay talk about cars and contribute. Unfortunatley, I cannot say the same about you as you bring ZERO benefit to the AMG community.

We heard the same thing at sema, just that one of the sls's had issues that turned out to be a speed sensor. (Figured it wasn't Jim as we had met up with him and the weistec boys for a bit while we were buying another dyno)
@KUSA we tried to find the owner as we had star on us at the show but he already had everything in good hands.

Both cars are very impressive...I just like Jim's as he has red wheels.

Why do you continue to lie when confronted with the truth ?? Oh you don't care, that's right.....that's why you keep posting LOL!!! You're doing a fine job of not caring...
There is no need to bring that discussion into this thread.

While it is true Fast Lane's IP matched for the first three sets of numbers it was a mobile IP and not a direct match. He was simply the closest. It is most likely somebody here used their phone to register.

Please drop this now as I don't want threads taken off track for personal matters.
