• Volkswagen releases more MKVII Golf R media - Pictures plus teaser video

    By now you should know Volkswagen debuted the MKVII Golf R last month and that it is packing an impressive 296 horsepower with a lighter curb weight than the previous generation model. Volkswagen included a press release detailing the impressive specifications but released little media to accompany the release. Well, this is more like it. A plethora of pictures of the new 2014 MKVII Golf R plus an official teaser video with their WRC driver Sebastien Ogier taking a spin.

    Check out the pictures and video below. This is definitely going to be quite the hot hatchback.

      I REALLY hope this hits state side with the DSG and fully disabled stability control...and an easily upgradable HPFP would be nice too.

      That's a good point but apparently they lose money in this market. Maybe they wouldn't if they brought over the cool stuff.
