• 2014 BMW F33 4-Series convertible spotted with its top down - 435i cabriolet

The F32 4-Series design should be getting familiar by now considering its debut earlier in the year. Here is the F33 convertible 4-Series variant with its folding hardtop down. It will be interesting to see whether the weight savings the F32 4-Series coupe brought to the table over the E92 3-Series coupe will carry over to the 4-Series convertible variant. The E93 335i weighs 4001 pounds so the F33 should be able to trim this to something in the 39XX range.

Not light, but that is the penalty for a folding hardtop. There is no denying the car certainly looks great with the top down:

Looks decent, heavy as hell. :-/ Always amusing when they camo the roundel on the front even though the kidneys and headlights are clearly visible.

Is the black car an M3 test mule? I can't think of any other reason for the bumpers and roof to be disguised on an F30 variant... ??

Maybe I missed it but after the original hype the m3 would launch before the m4 (or maybe they'll not name it after the most boring & frustrating road in the world) there's been relatively few photos of the m3 four door.

I see. Yes, few photos of it. The M4 seems to be generating more interest.

I hope to order one later this year? Do some of the M options apply to the convertible?

I would be more interested in the ones that give a sporty appearance than sporty performance.
