• Designer David Cava draws and renders his vision of the future Audi R10 diesel hybrid supercar

Remember the rumblings from Audi regarding a diesel hybrid supercar that would be Audi's version of the Porsche 918 Spyder? The car was supposed to have over 700 horsepower and 740 pound-feet of torque and be a world beater. The car was not approved for production by Audi and remains indefinitely in limbo. Will it come? Probably not. That does not stop people from dreaming about what could be and a designer by the name of David Cava did exactly that.

Here is his vision for the car as far as styling is concerned. The design is definitely futuristic and seems to have some hints of McLaren P1 in it. Also maybe a little Ford GT-90 if anyone still remembers that concept. Regardless, it's an interesting take and if Audi ever produced this car it is doubtful there would be complaints if the end product looked like the designs below.

How do you feel about it?
