  • Boba Motoring takes the world's quickest Golf to the next level - 1013 horsepower @ 60 psi + comparison to Veyron SS and AMS Alpha 12 GTR

Ok, Boba Motoring's MKII Golf is absolutely bananas. This thing has just about every Volkswagen record out there to have. Most powerful Golf, quickest VW, fastest VW, 8 second 1/4 mile, etc. Boba Motoring raised output in the Golf to 1013 horsepower. That is over 1000 horsepower with a curb weight of 1984 pounds. Um, yea, bananas. The 1/4 mile goes by in 8.65 seconds at 165 miles per hour. 1000 horsepower, 1984 pounds, and all wheel drive. Fun stuff.

The motor is a 1.8 liter diesel four-cylinder block with a Garrett GT42R turbo pushing 60 psi of boost. Yes, 60 psi. The fuel injectors are 3200cc flowing E85. You have to love it.

Boba did a comparison video showing the Golf versus a Veyron SS and AMS Alpha 12 GTR. Unfortunately, it is a speedometer overlay comparison and not an actual race between the cars. A Veyron SS is not exactly easy to source for a race when one wants one. Regardless, the overlay does show that there should be no doubt the little Golf can embarrass the million dollar plus supercar in a straight line.

Simply a beast. Boba Motoring just keeps raising the bar. Congratulations on having the world's quickest and fastest Golf. At this point, they only seem to be competing against themselves.

With those ancient aerodynamics and chassis it's probably best off doing 1/4 bursts. Regardless, absurdly impressive build.

      60 psi... lol.

Thing is bad ass. My first real turbo car I built was a 16V turbo. Such fun little motors. Wow, was able to find it online still. This is from about 93 or so... http://www.jwelty.com/jwelty3/tonysturbopassat.html
