    • Formula 1 2013: Victory at Monaco! Mercedes finally transfers qualifying success to race success, Nico Rosberg wins Monaco GP

Congratulations to the Mercedes Formula 1 team as well as Nico Rosberg. Mercedes was finally able to turn their qualifying success into race success. With their fourth straight pole position finally their string of sitting on the pole paid off. Rosberg and Hamilton both did well and both started on the front of the grid in positions one and two but Hamilton finished in fourth place after dropping behind a safety car. Interesting that Rosberg seems to be outperforming Hamilton as of late.

The race had several accidents which interrupted the flow but that's how it is on the tight Monaco track. Still, Rosberg was able to pull the victory out for Mercedes who remains in fourth place in the standings although hopefully this is a sign of more success to come.

Results below, congratulations to Rosberg, Hamilton, and the Mercedes team.

Go Silver Arrows!! Whoever qualifies on pole in Monaco usually wins the race because its extremely hard to pass without a collision and you can control the pace. The next couple of races in Canada and GB is where we wil find out how good the Mercedes is. Rosberg should be performing better, he has been in the car longer. Don't sleep on Lewis Hamilton he is a Beast!!
