    • The world's most powerful E92 M3, BimmerBoost.com Gintani Stage 3.5+ supercharged E92 M3 hits 773 wheel horsepower - Dynograph and video

The world horsepower record for the E9X M3 S65 V8 currently stands at 773 wheel horsepower and belongs to Gintani as well as BimmerBoost.com, just do not expect it to stand for very long. At Bimmerfest 2013 Gintani had the BimmerBoost.com project E92 M3 on display. They worked tirelessly to get the car ready for the event and took it to the dyno the night before. On MS109 race gas and 18.5 pounds of boost the car was able to hit 773 wheel horsepower with the completely stock DCT transmission slipping at 7250 rpm.

Looking at the dyno graph below it is easy to see where the clutches begin to slip. At about 4750 rpm the clutch slips a bit then grabs as the pull continues up to 7250 rpm where it slips again and is unable to hold the power as the car is run to its 8500 rpm redline. Regardless, 7250 rpm was enough for a new world record on the S65 V8 platform and overall on the E9X BMW platform.

Gintani will be rebuilding the cars DCT transmission and once that is complete the car will be back on the dyno for a clean run to redline and another world record. Looking at the graph, the car should conservatively be capable of ~830 wheel horsepower at 18.5 psi with MS109. What will it do on FTW Purple and 24 psi? We will eventually find out.

Enjoy the picture and graph below. There is a video included of the car at Bimmerfest 2013. A huge crowd was gathered around it. For some reason the announcer at Bimmerfest never notified the crowd that the world's most powerful E92 M3 was in the house and that a new world record had been achieved on the platform. I waited for hours for the announcement which was hand written and delivered to the announcer but to no avail. Additionally, the car did not win a single award despite being the E92 M3 on display that had the most work done to it. Perhaps it needed some tacky neon green trim and red roundels? Definitely odd and awkward considering the years of engineering that have gone into it and that Gintani was a sponsor of the event. Perhaps if a competitor was not the headline sponsor Gintani and this car would have received the acknowledgement that was deserved and earned?

Congratulations to Gintani on raising the bar to where nobody else on the platform is able to tread. This car is just getting warmed up.

because his transmission is stock and waiting for an upgrade and was going to grenade so why not let your tuner do the racing so you can not be responsible for damages or even have the desire to drive your car that you know will be breaking... smh

I believe Labb22 only took 1 car down and the car was having issues. The head lifted I believe. A lot of guys did not attend this event or else the results probably would have been different. 2 of the guys were trapping higher than 170mph last time and they are faster now, as well as a few others. Look for them at the next event.

Marcus M3 E46 turbo has lifted the head at 165mph.

Both Marcus and Kenton would have smashed. Sticky has no argument as he was not even there. Is argument is invalid. Also, curious as to why Gintani lies about what horsepower they are running in their cars.

So it was Marcus.. His car should easily break 173. I'd guess 180mph or so.

Correct, Kenton did 178 at the last event and is now making more power.

thats not true, even at 77x those traps are legit. w/o getting into tuner war BS, the only other dct m3 that has made 650ish has only done 160ish mph, this event and the last. hate on sticky all you want, but the Gintani package was doin work

How many times did this car run 173mph? What were the other traps?

Gitano had some quick card no doubt, but they are lucky they even got to look at those trophies. See you next event.

I didn't realize that Marcus rebuilt his M3 again -- New Engine Rebuild (Higher CR & Top of Line Forged Internals), New Turbo (Slightly Smaller for Better Powerband), and a New EMS (ProEFI -> Infinity).

I'm most surprised by the last change since the ProEFI allows a better Flex Fuel Strategy (especially since he's now running E98 to maximize power & spool on the new Motor/Turbo setup), in addition to better Motor Safety/Protection and Traction Control. To each's own though and I guess it makes sense since Lab22 has experience specifically with the Inifinity. Hopefully Lab can quickly resolve the issue with both of their cars having the heads lifting before the next big event.

You can say luck if you but fact is they went out there and put it down. Bested the previous fastest dct M3 by a large margin-a margin that is expected with the difference in posted HP- so attempting to say they lied is blatantly wrong and childish.

I could easily say the rest of the people were lucky they had "issues" or else they would have lost to stickys car.. something no one ever wants to do..

As for next event, possibly, but I'm no where near the league of cars we r talking about here; I just wanna run stock motor cars/cars that are equal

I've read that 173 was it's peak trap.... It's running a damaged DCT so it's not a surprise that it progressively slowed down

They will bounce back with no problem.

        Congrats on the results, regardless.
No those are Gintani's trophies all grouped together for a photo. They took 1st and 2nd. The first place ones would be mine.

Kenton would only smash me if he sat on me. That's quite serious.

They both could have been there and ran but they didn't? So you're getting mad at me for them not running their cars? Oh ok yeah I'm definitely responsible for that.

So my car ran faster? With less torque? How about that.
